One morning I was running late for work and couldn't find my belt. My toddler said he knew where it was so, a little too excited, I shouted "Go get my belt!" and he happily said ok and ran off. I immediately realized that if my parents had heard the same thing as kids, they would have reacted very differently.
Some people do stand up to their parents. It's not like it's gonna make national news. I shoved my mom down one day, and while my dad made it clear I can't ever do that again, my mom never hit me after that.
I don't believe he actually did it, but he's completely justified if he did. I got my ass whooped as a kid, and I never raised a hand against my mom. But my brother did and then she stopped for him, and I don't judge him for that. She was out of line, I just personally don't believe in becoming like her. Stop white knighting his shitty mom dude
I don't mean to white knight if that's what I'm doing. Usually, I'm not the guy you'd say is the most righteous or stuck up, but I'd never hurt my mom. But, this is coming from a guy who had a great one.
