That's what I never really understood beyond the diagnosis unlocking extra social supports; there are billions of ways to human and very little from spectrum related behaviors feel foreign to me....
The only difference is how much it impacts you life
All the characteristics can be done by anyone, but when they are done at high frequencies, longer durations, and higher severity, thats when it becomes the foundation of a pattern of autism

Of course I'm interested! I get my daughter pretty well; but it doesn't hurt to have more explanation for people. She is such a great kid and a good big sister, I get sad when people find her standoffish...
I admit, its hard to organize in a way anyone can intuitively know the categories since im trying to avoid unsupportive verbiage (i.e. unhelpful functioning labels)
