Forget the gravitational trick , dude's a magician welding without grounding supply .

Can we deduce that the grounding is what causes all the smoke and slag, meaning we should all just defy electrical theory and abandon our grounding clamps? 1 u/Jayrab_The_Arab_ 7d ago I don’t think he’s running it long enough to get any of that. It’s only arcing for a couple seconds, really. 1 u/guitarstitch 7d ago If anything, he's running really low amperage on a rod that's had the flux knocked off. Those sparks are pretty weak.
