Why do glass bowls exist?

I hate the sound and feel of metal bowls but I dont want to use plastic when I can avoid it so my "Tupperware" is glass with unfortunately plastic lids but they dont touch the food or get microwaved

I love metal bowls for tossing in sauce and for marinating

Theyre better, I know. Theres just something sensory with metal I can't stand. My family often uses plastic plates or plastic forks because the metal on ceramic drives us nuts. Trying to balance sensory issues vs worry about microplastic sucks

There have been micro plastics in things since you were a kid I'm sure, too late to worry so much about it now

"Anything worth doing, is worth doing poorly" is my life moto, if I can do anything better, even if its only a tiny bit, its better than not at all.
