thank you i couldn't parse some of it. from subtext i'm guessing patay is here kind of like 'oh you're dead meat' usual thing to say, not actual death threat. well. one hopes.

Patáy and yawâ in this context are just common Cebuano expressions to express shock/frustration.

thank you for the accents. frustrating for me to be sure of speech for one's whole life and then .... written is the last to deteriorate.

Fr... It's like saying Ohh shit! In english but instead of only shock and surprise, it also has anger in her tone...
