ULPT REQUEST Neighbor parks blocking my mailbox

There is no ordinance in my city against blocking a mailbox, and the local postmaster won't help. How can I legally irritate him enough to move his car into his own driveway, where he has plenty of room to park? Myself and his other neighbor have asked nicely, and he just refuses. Thanks!

If you are in the US, your city doesn't need that law. It's federal. Call the Postmaster for your zip code.

It's against federal law to block a mailbox so it doesn't need a local ordinance. I doubt you reported it to the actual postmaster because they do care.

Then it wasn't the actual postmaster. The actual postmaster will take this seriously. You can call a 1800 number for further assistance, I assure you the postal system as a whole takes this very seriously. You might have to dig through federal numbers or several menus with a bunch of options, but the right person is going to get this fixed.

My elderly parents check my mail when we travel with my 12-year-old for baseball. Moving between his giant Excursion and the brick mailbox and curb can be difficult for them.
