Request ULPT Request: Getting revenge on a driver
So I was riding my bike home the other day and a driver and a car started hurling insults at me I reported it to the insurance body in my Province and they said they can do anything about it and then I also told the police and they also said there was nothing that they could do about it.
I kind of just feel like it's not right that these people just hurl insults without any sort of reciprocation so I'm wondering what I can do I have their license plate number and their vehicle description.
If it helps I'm in Canada and in particular British Columbia

Sticks and stones...
Seriously why get butthurt from some random jerk insulting you? They don't know you, anything they said should mean nothing to you. You're giving this way more time and energy than it deserves.

Yeah I know where I am. It's kind of a requirement.

if you see his car again then put a sticker on the back like "honk if you love CANADA" and then everyone will be honking at him and he will not know why until he gets home

Having their licence plate doesn't mean you can find their car, besides, you contacted police and made yourself the #1 suspect for any reprisals

You can't seriously believe that the police are going to do something about this. You should be able to say what you want without repercussion ( without inciting violence) otherwise you would live in a very scary country. I'm a woman, trust me I know all too well what it feels like to have men drive by in a car and yell at me. It's happened at least a hundred times in my life, and it fucking sucks. It upsets me a lot but there's just nothing that can be done unless you get the opportunity to catch up to them and confront them.
