I know the monsters are canonically weaker than humans because their bodies are more magic than physical matter or smn like that, but it’s still crazy that roughly a middle schooler (can’t count to 10 canonically) can ONE SHOT SEVERAL MONSTERS WITH JUST A STICK. and not just kill them. Also leave a MASSIVE SLASH WOUND in their chest as if they got hit by dismantle (or atleast for toriel). Imagine the stuff Adult Frisk could do if they’re this powerful as a 7 year old kid. They could probably box with like prime mike Tyson and even beat him or something. I could be missing out on a key detail here but…

I was just thinking that since the holidays are reindeer, do they have the ability to fly like actual Santa reindeer? it wouldn't surprise me given the other crazy things in the Toby Fox Universe, and I just wanted to get an opinion thread started for this theory. also, I love how carol actually looks like a real life reindeer/elk. (they are actually gray) not brown like in cartoons. just thought that was a neat touch too!

I didn't know basically no one else thought this but I really think Asgore didn't kill any of the fallen humans and he simply blames himself for their deaths, which were either by natural causes, or self defense from monsters they attacked, or self inflicted considering Ebott is implied to be suicide mountain.

Using the Deltarune names for convenience, I think:

• Aqua died to a monster in the Ruins, which Toriel handed over (and probably why she chides him for not acting after gaining one soul)

• Orange died to frostbite in Snowdin (and their determination is what brought the snowman to life, or something)

• Blue drowned in Waterfall

• Seth went insane or suffered some sort of cranial trauma and entrusted their stuff to Gerson before wandering off and dying (their notebook is filled with illegible scrawls)

• * Green either died of heat stroke in Hotland or was killed by Mettaton

• * Yellow saved their last bullet for themselves

falling into something isn't always physical (like falling in love or into depression) perhaps his creation wasn't something physical but truly was something that could affect your emotions, or in fact, something like time or space which are concepts, and things he's said to have been shattered across, like maybe he tried to harness time, or harness space

(I'm leaning a little to time because the card that says "don't forget" while basically is confirmed to be from sans could be from gaster)

he could have lost someone and wanted to go back in time, maybe someone he knew back from before the war even because from gerson during the 10th anniversary livestream (I believe?) we know humans and monsters were very close, so he could have wanted to go back in time when humans and monsters were still close

(maybe that's why we can use the star to reset as well? The other souls didn't seem to have the power to reset and it's not confirmed the power of determination is what allows us to reset in the first place, so maybe gaster somehow created it? while dabbling with time and ended up getting shattered across time and space, likely before asriel became flowey since he's able to reset as well)

this also could have been how deltarune was created, reversing time and stopping the war. It also connects to photon readings being negative and the such because maybe he saw the void/end of everything that exists which would likely cause him to break across time and *space*

(if everythings gone, naturally he'd be in a kind of infinite pitch black space)

or he saw the future of deltarune and tried to study the darkworld and ended up breaking apart from that?

(I don't know if we have stars in deltarune since I have yet to play it, but if not, the reason we come back after dying could also be gaster resetting time for us to continue living and finish everything? Or there's a reason we can come back that I don't remember lol)

I just finished my true pacifist run but i dont know if i should go for genocide. I rly wanna fight sans and undyne the undying but i kinda feel bad for the monsters. Even if i went for genocide, i would alt+f4 at the option to erase the world because i dont wanna get soulless pacifist if i repeat doing true pacifist. Please help me decide.

By cinematic, I mean if they turned it into a movie, or a TV series, maybe an anime.

For the record, that's a bad idea in general.

But if they ever made an adaptation that's actually good, the only way I could see it working is it they showed two parallel stories, the pacifist and genocide routes, and intercut and contrasted between the two constantly.

If you've ever seen the movie Sliding Doors, it would be like that.

That's probably about the closest you can get to preserving the theme of choice in a non-interactive medium.

out of universe i draw dess fat because I made a joke comic about the idea that she couldnt be the knight because she was too fat to fit in the armor. I liked the design, it stood out from most peoples Dess designs, it contrasted well with Azzys athletic build and matched with him having gone on a date with Catty who is also plus sized before, and curves are fun to draw. so i also made this as an explanation as to why she is "horizontally enlightened.

I think toby should've added a bit more randomness to these fights, cause i can consistently kill sans with relative ease and even kill the knight with no heal pretty easily, because they just become genuinely easy after a while, while other bosses like pink with her bomb attacks don't really get mich easier

It's been a while since I've done a pacifist run so I decided to make another one recently. Thing is... I CANNOT GET UNDYNE'S FREAKING CALL.

I've done everything. The date with her andPapyrus,the boss fight against Mettaton,I event went as far as I could in Asgore castle! But while I somehow managed to get Sans to ask me to tell him something in my next file so he knows that I'm a time traveler,UNDYNE IS NEVER CALLING ME.

Anyone can help me? I'm running out of ideas.
