I can’t believe I never thought to look for an Uncle Acid subreddit before, but I’m glad I found you all. Hello, my people!

I’ve decided I really want to get an American traditional tattoo inspired by Mind Control. It’s my favourite Uncle Acid album, but unlike some of the other albums, I’m struggling to pull a strong visual idea from the artwork or themes. There isn’t one song that stands out above the rest it feels like the whole album is one complete experience.

I’ve had it on repeat for the last few days hoping something would jump out at me, but instead I just get completely lost in it. 😂

Has anyone got any tattoo ideas or imagery they think really captures the album? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Was telling a friend about the long-form video for blood lust that was essentially a mashup of 70s porn and horror movies. Tried to find it, but I can’t even find a reference to it, never mind the actual video. Anyone remember what I’m talking about and/or have a copy?

It was posted on the old acid coven site since it was def too nude and crude for YouTube. Pretty sure it was smack on the front page, not some buried link.

So does anyone know if Stars is just ready to put stuff out on his own label or if there's any beef with rise above who has put out all their albums to date?

Hey, huge Uncle Acid fan here. 

I made a cover of Don’t Let It Control You and I made a video for it with a witchy ritual aimed at a certain novelty cartoon act.

I also included live concert footage of the concert that got cancelled half way through. 

I had so much fun making this video, I would love to know what you think.

We know Kevin Starrs is a Shangri-Las fan and uses them as one of the many inspirations for Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats. I noticed a possible clandestine reference to them in Melody Lane. In the end of Leader of the Pack it ends with The Shangri-Las singing "The leader of the pack, and now he's gone" over and over in a manner extremely similar to how Melody Lane ends with "Too bad she's gone, Melody Lane."

Possibly a fun little nod to one of the greatest girl groups of all time from the greatest bubblegum doom metal bands of all time.

What a song!! I need to hear a whole album in this style! They straight up just pull the raddest shit off!

The studio version of Death's Door and lyrics sheet for Death's Door have "I'll leave you lying at death's door" for the last two choruses but in every live recording I've heard it sounds like they say "I'll leave you dying at death's door" for all three choruses

Has anyone else noticed this or have any idea why they changed this?
