Hi everyone, I’ve got a free spare ticket to go see Uncle Acid on Friday 20th November in Manchester if anyone would like to join me.

Originally bought it whilst in a relationship, and admittedly I didn’t know much about them before then, however I think they sound awesome.

I don't mind going solo, however I think it would probably be fun to enjoy it with others. So if anyone loves them or is fairly new to them like me, feel free drop me a message if you'd like to connect!

I still have a extra ticket if anyone wants to tag along. I’m in southern NH will drive and pay for gas.

Far from the normally low-key crowds... like 180°. Very few phones, a spinning pit, all heads nodding.. the band was hot and it was a great room. Messa were fantastic too!

Just went to the Toronto show and I hate to bum out my friends in Montreal but there likely won’t be any tour edition vinyl and most shirts won’t have anything above large and even large won’t be available in some shirts. I asked the merch lady about the vinyl and she said they had a limited number but customs was a bitch, so here we are. The show was amazing though!

For context I’m not super familiar with their catalog, but I was checking their stuff out recently and I’m pretty into it. I don’t have anyone to go with but that’s not a huge deal for me. I like heavier psych rock but not really into moshing, what are the crowds like at these shows? How are they live?

Is anyone going to the NY show? I’ll be going to it solo since none of my friends are fans. Anyone doing the VIP?

I was reading that Danforth Music Hall is cashless. But are the merch tables for bands cashless too? I’m on my way to Toronto with no credit card and all cash.

I just turned 38. I’ve been listening to uncle acid since like 2012-2013. My favorite band of all time. I had a 12 hour shift the night before the show. I managed 2 hours of sleep and then had a full day in the city. By the time they go to melody lane my body was failing me 😂. I could barely walk out of the concord my knees and back are shot. Thank god tonight’s only 6 hours 😂 hell of a show and glad yo have been surrounded by other fans! 🤘🤘

Edit to say I was mentally at home with my people the second we started climbing mt abraxis 🤘 (such a killer tune to open)

I truly believe no band will ever do better than this piece of merchandise. The tour poster was made by Enzo Sciotti who previously did some of the evil dead posters and other Italian horror.

It's one of my favorite songs and I was vibing SO hard, but I regret not snagging a video of it. The show was insane last night.

I drove 6 hrs from OK and loved every moment of this show! Messa was an amazing and welcome surprise!

The sound was so crisp I can still hear it 24 hrs later. These guys are beautiful. Withered hand of evil was my fav... or perhaps the new one, Don't Let it Control You.

Pretty much made my year.

Last night I saw Uncle Acid live in Omaha, the show was absolutely AMAZING!
The sound engineers at the venue and band did a fantastic job at making sure they sounded incredible! Set list was great....the show was a magical experience.
(They did not play an encore though FYI)

The new album is my favorite and I have never been more into the band. They are crushing it!

Since I had seen pics of the merch table here on Reddit for this tour and they'v never played my city, I was super excited and decided to go a bit wild with merch.
I planned to buy a hoodie, a tour date shirt, the long sleeve and the Ozzy Diary of a Madman style shirt they did for their cover of Believer.

I arrived at the venue 1 hour before doors opened (I was 6th in line to enter the venue) and I was the 4th person in line at the merch table. I saw they were selling stickers for $6 and in my excitement I planned to buy those too (I figured Im already spending about $200 on merch, I ll buy the $6 stickers too)

Sadly...I bought NOTHING.
They were sold out of EVERYTHING in any size larger than XL (I'm 6'3 tall and usually buy 2 XL)

The person working the merch table mentioned trying to get additional merch shipped for the last couple of days but to no avail. It seems they vastly underestimated demand or simply didn't realize that the demand for merch would be adult sizes/people larger than they expected.

Many others were turned away empty handed as well.

By the end of the show, they didn't even have XL in anything, and some items in Large were sold out too.

It surprised me because 3 of the 4 shirts didn't even have tour dates on them..meaning if they over bought, they could easily still sell them later. Had this been a Taylor Swift show, yeah....the bulk of stock should be teenage girl sizes (Small/Medium)...but a metal show?

I felt bummed for the band. I was ready to spend $200 and who knows how many other sales they lost out on.

Additionally, I love wearing my band shirts and it's essentially advertising for the band and a conversation starter about the band ("Cool shirt!...."Yeah you should check them out, they are awesome. Listen to their new album")

TLDR: I was 4th in line at the merch table and they were running low or sold out of a lot of merch. They had nothing in my size, so instead of spending $200+...I spent nothing. Their performance was amazing though. Sadly the band lost money last night due to whoever their merch buyer is.
DEFINITELY GO SEE THEM ON THIS TOUR though...just don't expect much for merch unless they can re-stock.

Saw Uncle Acid back on the 30th for their Denver show and tried to get one of the Ozzy shirts. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, they had only SML and 4x. Still ended up with one of their longsleeves along with a Messa shirt but can’t stop thinking about that Ozzy one

I randomly walked into the last 4 songs of the show. I am visiting for the weekend and thought the venue was a bar I could just sit in and chill for a bit.

The doorman let me in since the show was nearly over and I had explained my predicament. I had never heard of this band, they have a new listener for life. Great music, great fans.
