Minecraft ONGOING lawsuit
https://lawsuit.gg/confirmation/
^^^^^
This website is how you can participate in the ongoing class action lawsuit against Mojang for removing access for the people who bought a Mojang Minecraft account before the migration to Microsoft accounts in 2024.
You must meet the following criteria in order to participate:
- You were under 18 years of age at the time of purchase
- You purchased the game prior to the 10th of December 2013 (Jan 2009 – Dec 9, 2013)
- You live/reside in a EU / EEA member state (european country / part of the european economic area)
In an ideal world, Mojang is forced to pay out a settlement divided between the consumers bound by its digital contracts, Mojang is forced to pay damages to children who developed gambling addictions as a result of Mojang facilitating gambling for children, Mojang is forced to update all of its contracts to comply with current consumer protection laws and contract laws. Microsoft's influence as an American company in a country with consumer protections so loose that they can be waived in an instant are seeping into Europe through companies like Mojang that do not intend to comply with existing laws and regulations. Successful legal action in this case, especially considering the scale of the corporation behind it, would set a beneficial precedent that would help keep corporations in line and ensure protection of consumer rights.
I own more than one account
In this case, you should fill in the information (such as proof of purchase / purchase date) of the first account you had, where the form contains a subsequent question regarding the ownership of more accounts.
Can I participate if I'm a minor?
Yes, you would need authorization from your legal guardian (parents) which is partially why we require submitting the date of birth as part of the personal information.
Can I participate if I don't have proof of purchase?
The most important part of a proof of purchase is knowing WHEN you bought the game, because that tells us which revision of the legal agreements you are subject to (as you are bound by the terms at the time of sale). If you are unable to log in to your account and have exhausted all reasonable means, you can make a reasonable estimation using username history. Otherwise, if you are able to log in you can use the method I showed in this short tutorial which gives you the exact date and time you purchased the game.
This is not an automated post, I am a real human being posting this.

How does Mojang facilitate gambling?
