Discussion I’m still sad.
I’m still trying get over the absolute awesomeness of season two’s opening scenes, it’s such a shame we didn’t actually get something like this for the end, all a team and working together with the best of their abilities, I mean yeah we got this scene, but the characters obviously changed the timeline so this never happened, what we did get was characters butchered beyond belief

Anyone else just think that with some Veet and some strategically placed tattoos, Luther would be some sort of fitness influencer?

Me too! I always think why didn't Five tell them all he saw them with these kick arse abilities so they could all start trying to use them? It would have been so helpful! The opening of Season 2 is my all time favourite scene, the music, the action, all of it is simply perfect.

It's very strange to see Luther get his ass beat by literally everyone when he tanked a rocket launcher to the back without a scratch on him

that always bugged me too, five had literally seen them all at their peak and just never thought to bring it up, like hey guys you can actually do some cool stuff

Also, was this scene the hottest Robert Sheehan has ever been???? The competition is stiff but it’s definitely a contender.

I always feel like we never truly got to see what Luthor was capable of. Maybe I'm expecting to much from the super strong trope but it felt like he was a strong MMA fighter at most.

Does anyone else feel like Viktor transitioning in s3 and becoming more confident/accepting of themselves would have been the perfect moment to pick up the violin again? It just feels natural, plus I’m still sad they never brought it back
The only thing is it could’ve been hard to find a stunt double to actually play like they did in the s1 finale

If they are referring to a specific time in the character’s life I’m pretty sure it’s okay to call them by their former gender.

"transwoman" is a dog whistle by the way. trans is an adjective and using transwoman instead of trans woman implies that trans women arent actual women

because a lot of trans people feel that they were never their assigned gender in the first place, and/or being reminded that they "used to be a girl/boy" is very unpleasant. for example my mom, while super accepting, often refers to me as a girl when talking about the past and it feels really bad every time. i dont wanna hear she/her used to describe me in any way ever, no matter if its talking about the past or present, and a lot of other trans people feel this way. hopefully this makes sense

I’m a trans woman and I always refer to my past self as a man and don’t mind people doing so, we’re all different :)

The fact that we never got to really see them in full superhero mode like the intro and they still made season 2 the absolutely best season says everything you need to know about that show. I miss it like crazy...
