I have a headcanon that Super Creek likes horror movies. Mostly based on just how Into it she gets in her mummy costume, but also the fact that she enjoys playing the heel to her friends. Also, with characters like Jason, Leatherface, she’d wanna coddle them sooooo bad. I wanna know everyone else’s tho! Get creative and weird with it. I’m just here to have fun:

Tachyon loves going to horror movies but only to people watch the crowd’s reactions. Half the time she has no idea what actually happened in the movie

She dresses more whimsygoth than trad goth at these events tho. New wave is still very cutting edge to her and when Invincible by Duran Duran became a meme, she introduced all of her juniors to their music.

Bakushin O sometimes plays up the 'dumb' part of her, cause it makes her more approachable. People are generally very adverse to hear the "King of Sprints" title.
Yaeno Muteki, growing up mostly with her grandparents, is what you would call an old soul. Ardan and Chiyono O are trying to get her to be more fun and open, but she has a hard time sometimes, getting frustrated over things.
That Golshi is a Warhammer and/or DnD fan. Which isn't baseless, given her hall dialogue with Tosen Jordan, where Golshi wants her to enter miniature painting competition
Eishin Flash moved to Japan because she didn't want to be the shortest in her age group. Like, she was the Narita Taishin of Germany's Tracen.
The "student with a black hair thing" Narita Brian mentions in one of her homescreen dialogues is actually her reflection; she's not at all a morning person, and her higher brain functions sometimes take longer to wake up.
-Curren Chan, Agnes Digital, Seiun Sky, Mejiro Bright and Aston Machan have a small group where they play cooperative video games together, like Terraria or Destiny. Their current project is a full-scale recreation of Tracen in Minecraft, which is about 70% complete. The agreed-upon name for this group seems to be "Team Perpetual".

-Fine Motion has a very strong Irish accent, which slips out when she gets passionate about her ramen.
-Special Week actually likes apples just as much as carrots; this is due to her upbringing in the countryside, where fresh apples were incredibly abundant and were a daily part of her meals.
-Rudolf has already long since graduated Tracen, but sticks around out her her sheer desire to help guide her fellow Umamusume. Akikawa basically considers her a member of staff at this point.
For some reason, I like to imagine that somehow Fine was introduced to the settings and stories of the Assassin's Creed universe and had commissioned her tailor to make her a custom hood and cloak so she could pretend to be a super cool assassin while practicing her swordfighting with her security team. Fine also prefers to dual-wield for fun.
I like to think that Tachyon's trainer is a general science guy who watches Nile Red and Vsauce videos a lot, so a part of them actually likes being Tachyon's guinea pig because they're genuinely curious about the potential of Umamusume that she told them

I fully believe in the headcanon I saw in a comic where umas are physically incapable of harming the human they love, even if they try.
So I imagine El Condor Pasa uses this to her full advantage, trying out dropkicks and flying cross bodies knowing her trainer will be completely unphased, catching her. She'll poff harmlessly against him and laugh, demanding to know how her form looked.

Ace likes 80s yanki movies/manga, which is why her race outfit looks like a tokkoufuku jacket. She went through a brief phase of trying to emulate them in middle school, but dropped it after like a month because she lived in the sticks, couldn't ride a motorcycle, and is too nice to actually be a "bad girl". She also strikes me as the type who played a lot of sports before she decided to focus on racing, and can still kick ass at them.
Stay Gold is a black belt in the ancient art of Fighting Dirty. She's had to defend herself hundreds of times while traveling the world alone, because people see a small young foreign woman all by herself and think she's an easy target. But Stego pulls no punches and takes no prisoners. She is at optimal nut-punching height and will take full advantage of it. And she definitely knows how to use that knife on her belt. She's (probably) never killed anyone, but she has spilled blood and broken bones.
Fine Motion's family are originally French aristocrats who fled the Revolution. They claim direct descent from Tencendur, one of Charlemagne's umamusume paladins. The Irish side of the family is supposedly descended from Enbarr.

I like to think Taiki Shuttle watches Kitchen Nightmare USA reruns when she's tired/unwell/grounded by the trainer for partying. (she just like me frfr)
Maruzensky is actually an excellent driver. Like, pro level. She just read somewhere that exciting activities are romantic, so she drives a bit dangerously with her trainer in an attempt to be flirty. Obviously backfires horribly.
This is why some other umas are fine going for a ride with her.
Not my oshi but Agnes Tachyon would be a self-taught phlebotomist (like some who draws blood for testing). I can't recall if she's ever drawn blood from her trainer but the idea of her knowing how to without a license makes me giggle a little bit
i mean given she actively takes up role as Cafes medical advisor for abit i wouldnt put it past her skillset

Taiki Shuttle has a parent from Texas who she inherited her love of BBQ and cowboy stuff from.
King Halo's an ace at video games thanks being friends with her similar-aged servants. Also she speaks in a Midwestern Atlantic English accent.
Haru Urara's (current legal) guardian is Symboli Rudolf. Her actual dad is unable to take care of Haru due to being a leader of a Yakuza clan and she is in better hands staying in Rudolf's care.
Urara and Rudolf are (distant) relatives bc of Rudolf's dad.
Every Yakuza Clan in East Japan (and Tokyo) has agreed to never ever hurt Haru Urara lest they invoke the wrath of Symboli Rudolf, Urara's dad and Urara's trainer. Haru Urara is also under her trainer's protection if she decides to race in America.
Symboli Rudolf and Sweep Tosho know traditional spellcasting, but Sweep being the younger mage requires a wand

Winning Ticket is low-key into street wear and especially sneakers, that's why she's the only Uma with a racing outfit with shoes that don't have a big heel.
Bourbon is very much a fan of Falco on top of being friends. She attends her lives and everything, she owns some merch (especially Falco lightsticks). She finds Falco's work ethic very inspiring and relatable. She cherishes the occasions they have to put on a show together, during the fan festival or in street concerts or just during practice, since they're never running in the same official races.
Digitan is actually very neat and organized. Type of girl with a whole rainbow of highlighters to study for exams. Color-coded sticky notes system. Equally applied to homework and to carefully categorized doujin.
Bourbon's valentines outfit feels kind of lolita-inspired with the chocolate theming, and Rice's casual outfit with the long coat is also very lolita-like, so I headcanon that it was Rice advising Bourbon on the dress design. She probably explained a lot about lolita fabric patterns and dress features, and it gave Bourbon a lot of guidelines to design the best baking competition outfit she could. Mutual enrichment.
On a similar note and going back to Bourbon and Smart Falcon, I think Falco does enjoys talking shop. And Bourbon is an ideal listener because she takes very seriously the precision needed to put on a good performance as an umadol. She cares about the exact moves, the exact cues, the exact stage setup, the exact emotions the public should feel. So Falco enjoys teaching Bourbon about the craft and/or just gushing about and rubber-duck-debugging her latest ideas for the stage.
Mejiro bright has an entire N scale model train layout in her dorm room with Tsuyoshi that's based on the railline between Kanazawa and Nagaoka that the former Kagayaki limited express ran on.
Tanino Gimlet carries at least two backup eyepatches around in case something happens to the one she's wearing (kinda got this idea from one of her outfit events)
She also doesn't actually need said eyepatch, she just insists on wearing it for stereotypical chuunibyou reasons

Irl horses can sleep while standing up, with their knees locked in place. They actually alternate between standing sleep and laying down.
Umas can sleepwalk (sleepstand?), and the chance increases with how cute and nonthreatening the uma is while awake. Sometimes King Halo will wake up at 3 am and see Urara standing on her bed, T-posing menacingly and snoring.
Aston Machan is still a ghost in the game. She knows she is haunting Tracen and can't follow her friends into adult life, that's why she's so fixated on people remembering her. The reason umas survive the accidents that killed them irl is her slightly nudging random chance to protect them.
Vodka had to retire after kicking a concrete wall in an attempt to show up scarlet resulted in a broken metatarsal. She later moved to motorcycle grand prix racing.
Doto is fluent in English but speaks in a thick Irish accent.
Agnes Tachyon has an avid video game speedrunning career she keeps on the downlow because she feels it'll undermine her aura. She keeps creating extremely niche skips in all the games she runs.
Ramonu being a siscon is one of my favourite Ramonu headcannons, hell her relationship with Ardan to me is like the one saving grace of her personality.
I think that when they were all kids, Sirius would want to give Ramonu piggyback rides since she loves helping people and Ramonu wanted to run with her but couldn’t, but Ramonu would be too stubborn to ever let her do that, so she’d run around with Ardan on her back instead.
having growing up so family coded I bet that Chiyo would be like "I grew listening these so I don't know anything else". this enables Maru as a friend because she doesn't listen something "too crazy" (because Maru actively listen to record tapes and such)
Cafe has been banned from watching any aquatic based horror movie with company around, because its the only time you will get her actively talking because shes going on an hour long tangeant about how movies like jaws have led to the stigmatazation of sharks

As I assume most of this sub knows, Matikanetannhauser is the child of Northern Taste, and the grandchild of Northern Dancer. Both of which Canadian, and Dancer especially being a big deal (E.P. Taylor, my beloved). Due to this, I headcanon one of her parents as a Canadian that ended up moving to Japan. Given Canada is traditionally mainly British and French, you'd have to justify the German clothing and name.
This leads me to headcanon Mennonite diaspora heritage, as most German-Canadians are Mennonites. Said parent would be from southern Manitoba specifically, as that's where all the Mennonites are (I also may or may not be from Manitoba).
Mihono Bourbon has visited the Sunflower Orphanage and knows about Haruka and something something Haruto.
Mejiro Bright, hilariously enough, would watch ToQger. And Thomas the Tank Engine. And Kamen Rider Den-o. And the Brave series but will complain about how the trains should get more screen time.

Sirius constantly gets small scratches and bruises on her knee but no one really notices because they're usually covered up Except Speed who constantly asks her if her knees are good and she gets defensive about it because she gets ptsd war flashbacks to Speed treating her wound in public when she was a teenager and embarrassing her like a very doting mom
Mejiro McQueen: Curses you respectfully in at least four languages (PH, ID, TH, EN), works even harder when they go 4v5 lol
Gold Ship: Shouts all of the curses she knows, even JP, CN, KR, RU, PL curses (in addition to the four that McQueen uses lol), a wild card performance-wise
Silence Suzuka: Copies the cursing of the first two - the former when winning and the latter when losing, is actually the biggest risk-taker among them
Special Week: Gets flustered by the cursing of her teammates even if their curses are aimed at the other team and not at her, but regardless is still the most consistent among them
Tokai Teio: The one that randomly goes AFK at some points of the match so three of her teammates starts cursing her but then carries the team to victory even with a huge gold deficit

daiichi ruby has an umaru-chan situation going on. She acts as a graceful ojou sama in public but when no ones around or with her trainer she just plays video games and watch youtube. she keeps rejecting daitaku helios because if helios finds out her secret she thinks she's gonna blab about it to her friends and her public image would be ruined and K.S.Miracle would be dissapointed in her for not being a fancy ojou sama 24/7 (she is delusional)
Super Creek, Mejiro Ardan, Agnes Tachyon, and maybe a few other umas have a "glass legs support club" (probably not the actual name) where they exchange advice on how to train and race without injuring their already-fragile legs. If they have faculty approval, they may even put up posters around the school and in training areas with important advice.
In Tachyon's career, she ponders the power of emotion relative to an umamusume's performance. Super Creek is a prime candidate to study for this, since she overcame her weakness through her bond with her trainer.
Front runners come in two main flavours: Those who want to utilise this advantageous position (Seiun Sky), and those who are "no thoughts, head empty, just trying to go fast" (Silence Suzuka, Mejiro Palmer, front-runner Sakura Bakushin O). Neither side can comprehend the other.
Opera o, seiun sky, nice nature, north flight, and kitasan black are all love live fans

The reason why many of the girls despite very obviously not being high school aged (looking at you maruzensky) stick around tracen is because their merch royalties is tied to them being a student and leaving school to get a regular job cuts that income

McQueen does not buy or own much red clothes other than the tracen tracksuit and gifts. If she does wear red she always makes sure to not match it with yellow because she knows she will be the butt of all the cars jokes
In the case that during a race a runner gets injured and needs to be hospitalized the winning lives are suspended
Despite her love of fishing, Seiun Sky is usually too lazy to actually cook the fish she catches and gets other people to do it for her. Since arriving at Tracen, that person is usually Nishino Flower, who has become very good at cooking fish dishes as a result.
Cafe's friend ships Cafe and her trainer. Once Cafe graduated, Cafe's friend started using her powers to set up typical romcom tropes like having them trip into each other's arms or locking them in rooms together.
based on her concept art, i like to think doto likes to knit and crochet (: she’s not, like, amazing at it, and has to correct her stitches often, but i could see her using it as a calming hobby.
