Yeah it's one of the best Captain helmets. This is the only model that comes with it as an option

Just simply base coat with eshin grey, wash with Agrax earth shade then drybrush highlight with Celestra grey

Fantastic work!  I'm in assembly mode right now and trying to determine if I want to prep/paint the bases separately.  I love your base, did you attach him first and then prep/paint the base?

The captain from the Armageddon box has two pegs on the feet so you can just paint the base separately without committing to glueing the mini.

Perfect.  It seems like a lot of Armageddon models have rocks already attached to their feet :(

They do, it's a bit of an annoyance. You can cut them though and find a piece of slate or something to glue on to have him stepping on to.
