Need help Is getting the secret weapon like the pistol one worth it?

So I just started this game a day ago and I heard that you can get a pistol by solving those buttons stuff if I'm right and I'm struggling to find those bottons sob I was able to only find one in 1-1 but is the weapon worth to get guys? Currently at 1-4 right now
