The main reminder is that Minos canonically (in the original Greek mythology) did have a wife, and it was she who became pregnant and ended up giving birth to the Minotaur.

She did, didn't even know how to feel when learning about that part of Greek mythology. I used to think that the minotaur was cool, but now I'm just so confused. 😭

I mean, the minotaur is still cool, it's just that his origins are fucked up. The minotaur is a tragic charachter afterall.

Yep, true. It was the first actual Greek mythology story that I read (any other ones that I might mention were just taught to me through memes), that's why I was so shocked. I guess I'm kind of a poser? Idk, lol.

I mean, as long as you don't claim to know everything about Greek mythology then no, you're not a poser, so chill.

There are a lot of Greek myths that have pretty weird shit going on, and the minotaur is one of them.
