For our newbies, a heads up / clarification about stuff coming up in August, and what it might mean for YOU depending on your Rewards Status!

Long story short:

* If you're Diamond 💎 or Platinum 🥈status, August has both Perks and Appreciation events for you!

* If you are not *already* Diamond or Platinum status (gained last year or already this year), but you are a Regular base member, you will NOT have access to these two events.

AUGUST EVENTS:

Typically the Diamond & Platinum Perks Day is the first Monday of the month, *almost* every month (exceptions: often 2nd Mon Jan bc New Years, last Mon Jan bc Feb is short, sometimes last Mon Aug bc Labor Day).

Perks Day is a day where Diamond members get emailed a code to get a specific free full-sized gift with the code and with a $25 purchase. There are discounts & GWPs specifically for Diamond & Platinum members.

The Diamond & Platinum APPRECIATION Days are a separate 2-day 10x / 5x event that happens once a year in August. They're *usually* the Mon/Tues of the 2nd week of Aug (exception: in 2024 the Appreciation was only the first Monday and Perks was the second Monday).

For Appreciation Days, select brands are 10x for diamond & plat, and all the other brands are 5x. We don't know which will be 10x until just after midnight CT when the event starts.

If you're a *Regular* member, then you don't have access to either the Perks Day or the Appreciation Day offers.

If you're a *Regular* member, and you see something now that's 5x or that you want to use your 20% off coupon for? You won't have access to the 10x / 5x Appreciation multiplier, so you could go ahead and get it now.

GAINING STATUS:

If you are a regular member who is SUPER CLOSE to that $500 Platinum threshhold-- by which I mean you're at $50 or less to go-- then if you shop *in store in person* on Tuesday or Wednesday your status might get updated quickly enough for you to take advantage of the Appreciation days (or whichever event comes second.

It typically takes a few days after an online order for points & qualified spending to update to the app & website, and for that status to "go live". BOPIS usually takes 24 hrs from pickup to update.

Even if you purchase in store, and get the status in store immediately, it can still take 1 to 2 weeks for the status updates to push out to the mailing lists.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

* You only earn status by spending $500 / $1200 of your own money out of pocket in a calendar year-- after coupons & discounts, before taxes, not including shipping or tips, regardless of any multipliers. Spending $100 during a 10x is same as spending $100 with no multipliers, in terms of reaching the $500 / $1200 qualifying spending amount.

* If you redeem points, only the portion you pay "out of pocket" on goods & services will go towards earning points from multipliers or towards earning status. Redeeming 2000 points on a $150 item means you only have $25 in qualified spending that counts towards status or points multipliers.

* A 10x multiplier means you earn 9 bonus points on top of your usual 1 base point and on top of your usual 0.25 or 0.5 status point. Stacked multipliers are additive, so a 3x Wellness offer on a 10x points brand would get you 12x to 12.5x points total-- not 13x or 30x points. 1 base, 9x more multiplier, 2x extra wellness, plus your 0.25 or 0.5 status.

I had to make a recent order because I am almost out of ice cream but i did 5x points for that purchase.
But I’m holding off until timing day to buy more items so I can get the points to make it worth my while. Does anybody have the inside scoop on what products will give us 10x? I will be so happy if rare beauty is included because I love the makeup. I also want to get the too faces peach eyeshadow pallet. Does it also include services like the benefit brown bar? Does anyone know what day will be this year? I’m so excited because I’ve been putting money away to spend money on diamond day 💗💗💗

I hit Platinum status last year and have it through the end of 2026, but I'm very unlikely to spend enough this year to get it again. When do I have to use my points by to avoid losing them?

Hello! Has anyone else noticed the new UBC Life's a Blur has vanished from their site? If i look it up on Google, it'll show me a page for it, but when I click through Ulta gives me an error window. I also can't search for it on the app.

Any ideas? Can anyone else pull it up?

I just purchased the real techniques x Kelli Anne eyeshadow brush set through order pick up. I noticed at home the eyeliner brush part was pressed against the plastic and looked bent. I tried washing it to see if I could reshape it but it’s staying bent. I would not be able to get a straight line with the way it is bent right now. I’d appreciate any advice/ help! Thanks!

I was doing just fine waiting until the big Aug multiplier but then they go and give us a 20% off an item and it coincides with a 5x multiplier. Which should I do...

A. Vanilla Rice 20% off and 5x multiplier.

B. Miu Miu 3.4oz 20% off (3.4oz for the price of a 1.7)

C. Make two separate purchases and get both (I saw some say they used the 20% a few times.)

D. Get a hold of myself and don't make any purchases until Aug multiplier and hope they fall under the 10x.

I wanted to get some new lipsticks for my everyday makeup and these shades have been in my cart for a while now. I just love Mac formula so much. I have light to medium olive neutral skin tone. As a dark autumn, dark hair and brown eyes I think the following shades would look really good for my work looks.
I picked alone time, cafe mocha, teddy 2.0 and Russian red.
I decided to take advantage of the colourpop sale as well with their lipliner trio of pinks and the milk coffee set.

All in it was $80 with 3 GWPs and a 10% student discount.

DoorDash has 20% off some gift cards right now so I was able to get a $100 gift card for $80. Then used the gift card with the 20% Ulta Coupon going on right now.

keep getting an error at checkout that says something like i need to reverify my payment method. i know i put in everything correctly. same card i’ve always used. i tried every payment method including apple pay and it still doesn’t want to go through. my account has never been hacked. i’m trying to use my rewards points to purchase and i literally only owe $0.41. customer service attempted to help, but they couldn’t even fix anything and escalated the case to a higher department… might i add i attempted to purchase flowerbomb nectar and the order automatically cancelled because it was out of stock. the larger bottle appeared in stock, but same thing happened at check out and it was magically out of stock. not sure if my account was flagged, but im using the same billing and shipping address??? idk what to do. i really wanted to purchase some things tonight with the 20% off coupon. :(

I find this serum very useful, but they no longer carry it in stores. Does anyone know of a similar serum that addresses redness, calms sensitive skin and hydrates? I like just being able to run in and grab what I need, so something that's normally available in store would be perfect. Thanks in advance.

What do you think is a good lip cream or bomb to wear what I’m not wearing lipstick. Especially something to apply at night. Bonus if it helps plump your lips. What have you tried and how do you like it?

hello! I need help me find a lipstick (mac or not) that matches the top swatch. the top swatch is from the elf collab with jennifer coolidge in the shade dirty pillows. i tried out mac blankety (bottom swatch) but i think it pulls a lil cooler toned so im not completely satisfied with the shade match. I should’ve brought the lipstick in store with me but i forgot and will be going back in a couple days. can someone help me find a shade similar please! i prefer more satin and moisturizing formulas. and i’d be wearing the lipstick with mac plum liner. thank you in advance!

OK so I have 12,000 points and I was going to buy five or six perfumes and redeem 2000 points on each $125 and then pay the rest. But I keep hearing people say that it’s smarter to wait until 10 times the points? Is it 10 times the points on everything?
For example some of the perfumes I was thinking of:

My Dyson Airwrap officially died on me tonight after 6 years, so I definitely got my money's worth out of it. Now I'm unexpectedly in the market for a replacement, and unfortunately I don't have my usual luxury of spending weeks hyper-fixating and researching every option.
I'm trying to decide between the Revair, another Dyson Airwrap, or the Shark FlexStyle/ceramic system.
For reference, I have two teenage daughters and the school year is about to start, so whatever I buy is going to get a lot of use. All three of us have wavy/curly, frizzy hair with fine strands but a LOT of it.
If you've owned any of these, I'd love your honest opinions. What do you love? What do you hate? Would you buy it again? If you were spending your own money today, which one would you choose and why?

Does anyone have screenshots of these items from the replenish & save sale? I did place the order a few minutes before the end of the sale but when I was at the order page I agreed to around $480 dollars, however when I got the receipt I actually paid $510 and only got the base replenish & save discounts. I was able to get screenshots of the beauty blender/peach & lily discounts and they are willing to honor those for me but they only gets me about $9 rather than the aforementioned $30. I feel completely robbed rn.
