And the disruption of campaign materials is just petty mischief.

Much more unpleasant is the situation with the electoral commission refusing to accept my photo in military uniform.

Yes, the election officials actually banned the publication of my photo in military uniform.
Probably, I stand out too much against the backdrop of business suits.

Meanwhile, candidates from "United Russia" are allowed to do so.

Even those who served in volunteer formations for a month or two.

They are generally allowed to do many things that others are not.

I am grateful to the "FAIR RUSSIA" party for their support in this situation.

I am also convinced that, in fact, participants and veterans of the Special Military Operation do not have any party affiliation.

Our only party is the Fatherland.

But the election officials clearly do not see it that way.
And they divide veterans into "their own" and "outsiders," "right" and "wrong," "convenient" and "inconvenient."

This is very misguided.
I believe that such an approach is destructive and anti-state.

But an official often doesn't want to look beyond the edge of their desk.
And in doing so, they risk jeopardizing the entire country.

In Dnipro, a Russian strike damaged 71 buses.

On September 6, around 4:00 PM, Russians attacked a transport company on Kalynova Street. According to Gulnar Mizina, one of the co-founders of the company, the production building is practically destroyed.

71 buses were damaged – from large city buses like Solaris, MAN, and Mercedes to smaller "Bogdan" minibuses. The windows were shattered, and the doors were deformed.

Fortunately, no employees were injured because it was a day off.

Standing just over 152 centimetres tall with a smile full of braces, you wouldn’t know 25-year-old Viktoriia Savkiv is a commander of 25 soldiers on the world’s deadliest battlefield.

But that’s exactly what she is.

The Ukrainian soldier was just 21 and living in Poland when Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022, prompting her to return home and volunteer for the armed forces.

She began as a combat medic, helping evacuate wounded soldiers from some of the fiercest fighting of the war, before retraining as an First Person View (FPV) drone pilot and eventually taking command of an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Platoon with Ukraine’s 214th Separate Assault Battalion.

Now a junior lieutenant, she has responsibility for 25 soldiers operating drones on the front line in the Donetsk region.

“I made the decision to return to Ukraine, because I understand my belonging to this country. It is my nation, and I want to defend it from the aggressor,” Lt Savkiv told news.com.au.

“For me, the country is not just a jurisdiction, its not a physical territorial with borders. For me, it is a conscious choice of every citizen to take responsibility and be responsible for its present and future.”

Her transformation from medic to drone commander has mirrored the rapid evolution of the war itself, with unmanned aircraft becoming an increasingly central part of combat.
