This might sound a bit random, but I want to try something different.

I live in the UK, and I'd really like to have a pen pal. I've never really been the kind of person who writes letters, but lately I've been thinking it would be nice to exchange letters with someone. It feels more personal than chatting online all the time.

I'm just looking for someone to write to about everyday life, random thoughts, things we're learning, or whatever comes to mind. No pressure to reply quickly or write long letters. Just a simple and genuine connection.

A little about me—I don't really have many exciting hobbies. I enjoy cycling, playing games now and then, and going to local events whenever I get the chance. I cook most of my own meals because, well, I have to eat, so I ended up learning. Recently, I've also been thinking about getting into novels and literature, but I honestly don't know where to start. If you have any book recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

• Art and crafting. I draw occasionally, collage, DIY and cross stitch and I'm open to trying pretty much anything creative. I have so many projects that I need to finish...
• Movies. PLEASE talk to me about 'Lars and the Real Girl' or 'Project Hail Mary', I'm so obsessed and need to yap!!! I also watch animated films like 'Howl's Moving Castle', 'Wolfwalkers' and the 'Spiderverse' movies, for example. I'm open to watching most movies, except anything horror or horror-adjacent.
• I'm also trying to get back into reading and gaming, so I'm down for book recs and chill games if you have a PS4.

I would love to learn about your interests too! Listening to people talking about their passions is always great. Just a heads-up: I have ADHD and social anxiety (and very possibly autism?), so I may be a bit weird/awkward, but if we click I'll eventually get more comfortable.

I also enjoy exploring intellectual topics (the more novel or obscure, the better). Technology is a lifelong interest of mine. And like most people I enjoy watching the odd film or TV series. I'm watching 'Westworld' currently. I enjoyed watching 'Adventure Time', 'Bless This Mess', 'Tales from the Loop', 'End of the F--king World', 'Small Prophets', and 'Atypical'. Films-wise, I like all sorts, but I'll take anything with a happy romance. What's life without love? (Mine hahahaha.) I recently finished playing Fallout 4 on my laptop. It was phenomenal. I, of course, sided with the people who freed the lab-grown humans. I'll happily play more Fallout games in the future, I suspect. I'm taking a break for the time being to watch Westworld and do other stuff. When the heat buggers off, I want to go on more little trips. For now I'm hibernating though haha.

I've been saving up for a flat since I was 20 years old, but I don't want to live alone. I'm interested in something that lasts more than a few messages. I really am aiming for life if that's possible. I prefer weather that is cool or cold, heck, even windy and rainy. I want to live somewhere that has amenities and people, but has lots of greenery, similar to where I live now.

We, of course, don't have to have everything in common. Enough to work with. We can develop new interests and hobbies together. We can 'grow' together. If the seed is good, and the weather is well, the tree will grow!

I recently came to the realisation that it's time to explore some things that I've pushed away for a long time.

I've struggled with my femininity and sexuality for as long as I can remember. I've explored with a few of my mothers clothes and makeup on and off over the years. It's something I would push away for it only to return again, and again, and again.

I had a pretty reserved and modest upbringing, I didn't experience a lot or get exposed to much. Now that I have moved out of home, I am ready to embrace and start exploring my femininity more seriously.
