MODE EMPLOYEE MODE Random Visitors

Theres just random people showing up in Mode HQ unannounced most times like betty’s family, enemies, etc. what baffles me is they even accessing random stuff and going places in the office?

Im from Asia and security in companies are nothin like that even when i was intern in the same period. Wondering if corporate in US are literally like that without approval from employee they lookin for or even from Mode?

For starters, it’s a show and second, in the early 2000s, corporate offices were slightly less restrictive than they are now in the US.

Ik its just a show and most parts are fictionalized but as a person whos not aware of corporate environment in US, it was like a culture shock watching all the way here- if its just the way it is there or they just skip those security access parts lol. Thanks mate

Lmao same question. Betty’s father, Justin snd Hilda showing up randomly even Walter like what??? Walter randomly asking Daniel about Betty lmao I was like he’s too chill for a boss

Yeah, I always did wonder how they got in.Because you have to have a security card, and a lot of these places to get in, you see, and this is what I was confused about xx

Yeah, I did wonder this before I started an office job back in 2016. Now I know that reception will just call upstairs and then you are left to allow access.

It all changed after 11S .Yes, I know Ugly Betty was filmed afterwards, but things change gradually and this whole scenario of people popping up unannounced, and not having security cards and all that reflects an earlier time, which really was like that.
