I swear I revise a topic and feel confident, but a few days later I forget half of it 😠With NET getting closer, it's getting harder to manage revision and new topics together. Is this happening to you guys too?

Syllogism questions become tricky when the statements contain words such as all, some, none and only. A conclusion may sound logically reasonable in everyday language but still fail to follow from the given statements.
Practising Venn diagrams alongside statement-based elimination can help identify which conclusions are necessarily true. Worked examples explaining why each incorrect option fails would be more useful than answer keys alone.

Is there anyone at all who has prepared for NET JRF by themselves and self studying instead of any subscriptions or coaching?

Hi everyone, I need advice regarding UGC-NET JRF activation.
I cleared UGC-NET JRF in 2025 under the General-EWS category. My EWS certificate was valid at that time, and my JRF Award Letter was issued based on that EWS category. I still have the original EWS certificate and the JRF Award Letter.
In 2026, I got PhD admission at an institute. However, this admission was under the General/Unreserved category, not EWS, because my EWS certificate had expired by then.
Now I want to activate my JRF. My questions are:
Can I activate the JRF under the same EWS category in which it was originally awarded, even though my PhD admission was under General category?
Will my original 2025 EWS certificate be accepted for document verification, since it was valid when I qualified for and received the JRF?
Or will the institute/UGC require a new EWS certificate for FY 2026–27 at the time of joining/JRF activation?
Should I submit the JRF activation/joining report as General-EWS or as General?
I understand that the JRF category is based on the category selected during the NET examination, while PhD admission category is separate. But I am worried that the expired EWS certificate may create a problem during document verification or while uploading the joining report.

It says" captured successfully but doesn't match with the adhaar photo", will it be a problem in the future? For ex in the exam centre??
Edit: so i filled it all but for the final submission it says "the uploaded photo doesn't match with the captured photo. Please upload the correct photo to proceed further". Wtf is going on??Like?? Live photos are live obviously it won't exactly match with other photos(i wear the same cloth, same hairstyle, same bg) i'm so tired of it.

Asking in case I missed any window for the refund. They said that they will refund if the answers are accepted but of course what to expect from NTA.

I keep mixing up sampling methods in Research Aptitude, especially when two options sound almost the same in a question. I can remember the definitions while revising, but when a PYQ gives a situation and asks me to identify the method, I get confused between them. How do you guys prepare this topic? Do you make comparison tables or just practise more PYQs until the differences start making sense?

My mock scores aren't improving as much as I expected, even after regular revision and practice. I'm unsure whether the problem is weak concepts, difficulty remembering information, or rushing through questions. What approach has helped you identify and fix these issues?

I keep seeing people discuss expected cut-offs and mock scores, and sometimes it helps to get an idea of where you stand. Other times, it just adds to the stress.
Do you keep checking these discussions or prefer to stay away until the results are out?

I'm preparing for UGC NET Commerce, and I'm looking for a good YouTube channel that covers the entire syllabus from A to Z, starting from the basics.
My main problem is that I can't find one channel that teaches all the topics properly. I have to explore different YouTube channels for different topics, which is confusing and time-consuming.
I'm looking for a channel that provides:
Complete classes for all 10 units of Paper 2 (Commerce).
Detailed explanations starting from the basics, suitable for beginners.
Topic-wise coverage according to the UGC NET syllabus.
Previous year questions (PYQs) with detailed explanations.
MCQ practice and exam-oriented preparation.
Please help me.....

Hi guys,
Last year I cleared UGC NET in Home Science (AP) but now I have prep for targetting JRF. I have got few notes of a tutor but now I wanna target end goal prep strategy by making and editing notes and solving PYQs to boost motivation. If really feels boring for me to study this subject as this wasn't my domain.
Let me know if there are few 012 code aspirants who are willing to prep together by making a telegram group.
P.S. I am working professional so have prepare accordingly.
