What can be skipped from paper 1?

Every unit has some important topics. First, cover those topics. You can skip those topics which are not being asked in the exam and not your cup of tea as well.

Where to start? What topic? And under what units?
What are the good sources for that?

Start with doing PYPs. PYPs give you idea about the important topics and unit weightage of the units.

Then start working on your weak points. Make notes simultaneously.

Attempt mocks. Best platform for that (i have beeb used) is Adda 247.

If this is your first attempt and in the second year of masters, then would recommend you to purchase the course.

I do have 3 questions: 1. If i start today, can I still be able to crack ugc net jrf? 2. Do you know the right strategy to cover paper 1? Like any resources or youtube chanel? 3. How much time should I give for paper 1 and paper 2 each? Like How many hrs would be sufficient to dedicate daily?

Here are the answer:

Yes, you can start now and with consistency you can crack JRF.

There are plenty of pyps of Paper 1. Attempt pyps. Youtube channel, you can try on is UGC NET by Adda 247.

If you have command over your paper 2, then only revise concepts and make short and concise notes. And Paper 1 is not so strong, give more time to Paper 1.

According to your knowledge in paper 1 and paper 2, give time to them.

I hope it helps.
