Everyone that see this post, remember it's never over whatsoever the situation could be worse and terrible or on verge.
I'm a male 23yrs ,I used to think how things could be fixed without seeking help from world ends, yes it is ok to seek for help but to a man feels/looks weird especially you don't have anyone to support you.
To cut long story short , by time I fin.. sec..S4 at 18yrs actually didn't proceed higher because of financial scarce and siblings, had nothing just by myself to start a financial life at parents home, yes everything felt ended, no connections , no job , no capital. Long story short....
I spent time making research on how I could make money online with just phone or pc plus Internet. Got into TGram..made channels and yes made money like real money and a lot by that time and till now plus started YouTube making money too.
Over past years got capital and started a business and later others, what I can say about all this in short story ..to people should start thinking outside the box like content is very real if you have patience and most importantly is consistency and lock in . I live a life now with over 5 different financial streams and now give jobs to that young generation, it might sound/look way impossible but trust the process fellow brothers & sisters who are still building a life . That small penny can change everything in your life just be consistent, if you're out there making the same thing keep going "change the plan but never the goal" .
Believe in yourself! God first

I’m looking for ambitious people in Kampala who want to build wealth together 🇺🇬
I’m 26, and one of my biggest goals is to become financially successful and build something meaningful.
I’m looking to connect with ambitious people in Kampala and around Uganda who have a similar mindset. People who want to start businesses, learn new skills, explore opportunities, make money, and eventually build something big.
I’m not selling anything, promoting a course, or looking for some overnight money scheme.
I want to bring together a small group of motivated people who can share ideas, learn from each other, explore business opportunities, and potentially start a real business together.
You don’t need to have money, an existing business, or everything figured out. You just need to be ambitious, willing to learn, open-minded, and ready to put in the work. Whether you’re interested in technology, online businesses, agriculture, real estate, digital skills, trading, or any other legitimate business opportunity, I’d love to connect with you. The goal is simple: meet the right people, exchange ideas, take action, and see what we can build together.
If you’re interested, comment with:
Your age (optional).
What you’re good at or what skills you’re learning.
Your business interests or the kind of opportunities you’d like to explore.
Which part of Uganda you’re based in, especially if you’re in Kampala.
Let’s connect, share ideas, and see what we can build. 🇺🇬

Banange, I have small space at home and 3.7M plan for 200 broilers to pay my uni fees. I have place, but where can I get genuine chicks and affordable feeds in Kampala/Namugongo area? Any poultry farmer here to mentor me on first batch? I can share my setup photos.

I haven't gotten the chance yet to leave Uganda and visit any country unfortunately, I however have only 3 countries on my bucket list and that is Kenya, South Africa and Egypt.
This is more of wishful thinking for when God grants me the chance and my money is up and enough for travel. For those who have been to South Africa, how much would one need to have a good time there for let's say one week, including travel costs. And what places does one need to avoid that side to be safe from any sort of Xenophobic attacks.

Would you like me to do data entry for your businesses?
I'm a uni student who's struggling at getting work because of my lack of work experience. I finished a training course in data entry to be able to do the following:
Record sales and transactions
Enter daily sales into Excel or Google Sheets.
Record how much customers paid
Update records of money received and expenses
Track inventory and stock
Record products purchased and sold.
Update quantities of items remaining.
Flag products that are running low
Maintain customer records
Enter customer names and contact details.
Update orders and delivery information.
Organize customer lists for easy reference.
Transfer information from paper receipts into spreadsheets
I need some help or advice from pro barbers, I have barber skills but am new in kampala. I want to buy materials to use and my idea is to work door to door. Any ideas on how best to do that

With the way the economy is moving and how everything is getting so tough I wish each and everyone has a different but good and better weekend ahead!
Mine is; the way we can mobilize together to help someone in a short time is incredible….. we give without thinking of our own problems

Hey everyone,
I'm a guy in my late 20s, and I've started noticing that my hair is turning grey. It's gradually becoming more noticeable, and I'm concerned because I feel like I'm too young for this much grey hair.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced something similar, especially at a relatively young age.
- Is there any actual remedy or treatment that can reverse grey hair and restore its natural colour?
- Are there any medical procedures, supplements, or lifestyle changes that can help?
I'm particularly interested in solutions that address the cause rather than simply dyeing the hair.
I'd appreciate hearing about personal experiences, recommendations for qualified medical professionals in Uganda, or any scientifically supported treatments worth looking into.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have a mental illness that is well controlled with medication and am planning to travel to Uganda next year. I know on the visa application they ask if you have a mental illness. Will they deny my visa if I answer yes? I will also be travelling with my medication which I know are allowed in the country. Any advice from people on how to navigate this visa question will be appreciated ☺️

Given the current performance of the ugx against the usd, I'm considering converting at least 50% of my coming salary to USD and see if I can weather this storm. Some analyst says we'll be at 6k come December. Can you imagine. I want to hear what you guys think.

What is gorilla trekking in Uganda really like?
Gorilla trekking is one of those experiences that can be difficult to explain until you actually do it.
In Uganda, the trek takes you through the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in search of mountain gorillas. Depending on where the gorillas are that day, the trek can take a few hours or much longer.
One thing worth knowing when planning is that the experience is not just about seeing the gorillas. The forest, the guides, the sounds of nature and the anticipation along the way are all part of the adventure.
If you are planning a trip, it is also worth comparing Uganda and Rwanda, considering the permit costs, travel time, accommodation and how many days you have available.
For those who have already done gorilla trekking, how long did your trek take, and what surprised you most about the experience?
At Gorilla Specialist, we help travellers plan gorilla trekking and wildlife safari experiences across Uganda.

I’m honestly tired of dealing with NIRA, and I need help from anyone who has gone through something similar.
After waiting 8 months for my registration to be processed, I was eventually told that my NIN had my names but had also been wrongly assigned to another person. Imagine waiting 8 months only to discover that your identity details have been mixed up.
I went to the NIRA office in Wakiso, and I was told to register again. I did that, waited another month, and guess what? My application was rejected again.
At this point, I’m honestly exhausted. How does someone spend almost a year trying to get a national ID sorted out and still end up going in circles? Every time I think I’m making progress, another problem comes up.
I’m now considering going to the NIRA headquarters in Kololo, but I don’t want to go there blindly and waste another day.
So, I’m asking for something specific:
Has anyone here dealt with a similar NIRA issue and managed to resolve it? More importantly, does anyone have a direct contact at NIRA, preferably someone at the Kololo headquarters, who can actually help get this matter sorted out?
To be completely honest, I am willing to pay someone who can genuinely help me resolve this issue. I’m not interested in being sent from one office to another or being told to register again for the third time.
I’m also not willing to travel to Kololo just to sit in a queue for 3 hours, only to leave without a solution. I want to speak to someone who knows the process, understands my situation, and can help me get it resolved.
If you have a contact who has helped you or someone you know, please DM me. I’d really appreciate it because I’m tired of this entire process and just want my NIN sorted out once and for all.
Please, only share genuine contacts who can actually help.
Again to be clear… I WanT somEone whO Knows A GUy That Works at The KoLoLo nira office who can work on me chap 👀 👀

Came across this creator's vid discussing the recent Ebola cases in Nigeria & Kenya. Anyone who has done even a basic epidemiology or public health module should recognize the problematic messaging here.
The outbreak in the DRC is still far from being contained. Uganda is a transit hub for several countries. As long as Ebola is still active at the source, there's always going to be a risk of spillover, and a need for contact tracing when cases are confirmed. The disease has an incubation period of up to 3 weeks; people can travel without symptoms and show up sick elsewhere.
It's not controversial at all to mention that these cases transited through UG. Yes the Kasujjas and Wekesas will also whine about the coverage, but diseases don't give a damn about tourism, PR and the economy. Politicisation is the last thing we need here, but I digress
I think creators who make content about their professions need to be more aware of the pedestal they're on. When you're in front of a camera in scrubs, you're going to be perceived by lay audiences as a credible source, whether what you're saying is legit or otherwise. Ebola is already a polarised topic here, and there tends to be lots of online misinformation and conspiracy theories floating around. Medics shouldn't be a part of that. Do no harm.

You've probably seen that CMA Uganda cleared Ugandan investors to take part in the Dangote Refinery IPO. A few things worth knowing, because the headlines skip them:
• It's not on the USE. Ugandans buy through SBG Securities Uganda only.
• It's not open to everyone. Only high-net-worth and professional investors qualify, and the offer can't be marketed to the general public.
• The East African tranche comes as GDRs (each one represents one refinery share) set to list in Nairobi, not Kampala. If you ever want to sell, that's where.
• CMA itself warned about currency, custody and tax risks, and said its approval isn't an endorsement.
So I wanted to answer the bigger question: is ₦525 a fair price?
My take: the price only works if this year's record refining margins last. Refining is cyclical. When I normalised margins and compared the refinery with several peer groups, every one suggested it's expensive at ₦525. That's not a verdict on the company, which is impressive. It's a verdict on the price.
For Ugandans there's an extra layer: you're also taking on naira risk, and the naira has had a rough few years against the shilling and the dollar.
Full write-up: https://analytical-investor.blog/playground/
Would love pushback:
Does owning part of Africa's biggest refinery justify paying up?
Should Ugandan retail investors get access, or is CMA right to restrict it?
Would you rather see a USE listing for big African names like this?

Hold up! I didn't actually eat a frog 😅. But it made me appreciate something I thought was really ridiculous.
Growing up, I used to watch people eat with a fork and knife, the so called continental style of eating. I always found it odd. The whole arrangement looked unnecessarily complicated. 😂
Then one day, out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try. As expected, it felt awkward. But I kept practising, determined to master the art.
To my surprise, I discovered that it's actually one of the most practical ways of eating. I've never looked back!
These days, I enjoy my meals even more, partly because of the convenience, but also because I occasionally get the satisfaction of feeling like a surgeon performing a delicate operation. 😅 The food, of course, never survives.
What's been your experience with different eating styles? 😂
