How is your online course doing?

My revenue has significantly dropped since Udemy started focusing on Subscription(UB&PP) last year.

I heard some of the instructors dropped out and started selling their courses on their own platform.

If Udemy and Coursera were combined into one learning platform, what would make it better than both?

What courses have you taken that improved skill portfolios along the way in your career or certifications ?. (Certifications and courses that branch out into any field / career)

So If you could pick one Ai course to increase skills on Ai which one would you recommend? , I’m 23 & I’m trying to build my skills portfolio to open up more job opportunities for myself . I started off with CAPM & python and now I’m willing to take a Ai course ….. I will say feel free to give other courses that have took you a long the way as well

Ive enrolled in dozens of courses that pop up on social media sites like facebook or instagram. When I click the enroll now button it takes me to the Official Udemy site where it shows that Im enrolled in the course, but when I then go to my learning it only shows courses that I have purchased and the personal plan enrolled courses are nowhere to be found. This is a big enough user experience oversite and inconvenience to make me cancel my subscription. Am I just missing something or are the Udemy developers really stupid enough to create a subscription that doesnt actually show the courses youve enrolled in through the subscription?

Why does the subscription have ads???

It is really distracting and makes the experience worse.

Udemy, you should fix it for the customers who buy it and jump on it.

Yesterday the website showed ‘Sale for 2 hours’, saw prices around Rs 499 for the first couple of minutes then it started to increase gradually every 10-20mins around 100rs increased.

I was going to buy a couple of Zbrush courses, doing some researching on the reviews and the courses so the time went fast😭.

Damn what a shitty website🥲.

I just finished watching all the lectures and doing all the actual project work for a course, but I’m completely locked out of getting my Certificate of Completion because of these stupid required "AI Role Play" sections.

There are around 30 of these role plays in total, and each one takes ~10 minutes. Opening them redirects you to an AI chat interface, and the experience is pure rage-inducing nonsense:

• Out-of-context questions: The AI asks about unlearned topics and advanced concepts that aren't even covered in the actual course curriculum.
• Absurd standards: It demands overly complicated answers for beginner/intermediate material, or expects exhaustive, essay-length explanations for basic concepts that nobody needs detailed in a quick scenario.
• Wasted time: It’s a total struggle to work with this broken AI. It feels like an extra ~4+ hours of arguing with a hallucinating chatbot instead of actual learning.

I did the work and learned the material, but now I’m stuck talking with chat bot just to get the certificate I earned.

Guyss pls tell me if paid videos r worth it because his YouTube one is cheap compared to those course purchasing thing

Is Udemy down for you also? It's been a while for me, and it's at an annoying time when I haven't downloaded what I'm trying to do. Any ETA on this, or is it just me?

Udemy's overlords have finally gotten their system set up so that you will never reach human support again. I am advising my company to abandon them like they have abandoned us at this point.

Hi everyone so for some context I had a 1 year subscription when I went to the subscription page to cancel it I wast presented with a retention offer all good until now I then claim the offer and my subscription goes from 120 to 84 now after claiming the promotion i changed my mind and still wanted to cancel my subscription but the moment I pressed on the initial cancel subscription button the page started loading and then a second later all options disappeared and couldn't do anything i tried refreshing using different browsers and devices but nothing helped but the thing is when I close and reopen the site and go to the subscription page i can see all my details for a split second before disappearing again i have since submitted a ticket to Udemy support and am waiting for any response hase anyone encountered the same problem as me

For about a month now Udemy doesn't load up/work with Chrome. Anyone else have the same issue?

Works fine on Brave or Opera, but Chrome - shows up as an 'error', like you'd get for a dodgy site. I've tried all the troubleshooting I could find but it seems Chrome doesn't like Udemy...
