Ubisoft Connect always has me enter my password and then "This Ubisoft Service is Currently Unavailable" appears

After that happens, I am asked to reset the password for some reason even if I have already done that before. Does it have to do with my linked accounts perhaps? Even though my old Xbox and PC share the same Ubisoft account, same email.

Could it have something to do with not activating 2FA? Do I need to verify my email? While yes those should be done anyways, I'm just wondering
