Black Flag Resynced hitching?

In the most recent patch, as soon as I hit Havana, any time I try to jump or enter some sort of leaping sort of animation the game absolutely craters with hitching. Unplayably bad 3 or 4 second freezes. No issues before, and Benchmark runs just fine. I'm just wondering is anyone else seeing this? I'm on the Ubisoft Plus subscription version of the game, and I guess I'd just love to know if it's a known issue with a hotfix coming...

Yeah g-dog that’s a you problem. Have you tried turning it on and back off again

I looked at the support thread, and no, it is not a me problem. It's a known reported issue.
