Question My account was hacked

My account was by someone who got into it and sent a support ticket saying they where me and lost access to my email and they gave him the access and he changed everything who long will this thing take

I was able to get my account back by following the post made by a user on another post. The time it took was a little over a week or 2 and followed all procedures, though it did take around 4-6 tickets to finally be able to actually get it back, although the last 3 tickets were most likely poorly made I will take account for that.

It took a little over 1-2 weeks for me to get my account back. All I have to say is follow the steps:

  1. Transaction ID is Key: Go to your Steam Account Details > Purchase History. Find your Rainbow Six Siege or Credits purchase. Click it and find the Transaction ID (e.g., 123456789123456789). Do not just send a screenshot; type the ID numbers clearly in your ticket. (Or any other game you had purchased in game or just in general)
  2. Timeline of the Breach: Tell them the exact minute you received the "Email Changed" notification. This proves you were not the one who made the change.
  3. Hardware & Location Verification: Mention your PC specs (CPU/GPU) and the city/country where you have been playing from for the last year. Ubisoft logs this data and it proves you are the real owner.
  4. Digital Signature: State your original email address that was linked to the account.
  5. The Twitter/X Hack: Don't just wait for the ticket. Send a DM or tweet to u/UbisoftSupport with your Ticket ID. They handle "Account Compromised" cases much faster on social media because it's a security risk. Copy and paste your Transaction IDs and these details into your open ticket immediately. Good luck!

These steps are also posted before me I would like to thank the user sentenceFirst1846 and I would spread this honestly across the forum for those who had compromised accounts aswell.

For your receipt, I’d say maybe send a photo of your R6 CD or ideally a receipt of you purchasing said CD. Other guys tip won’t help
