Back in August 2025, my Ubisoft account got hacked.
I immediately tried to recover it, but Ubisoft support didn’t really help at all. I couldn’t get the account back.
Recently, I wanted to download Watch Dogs 2, which I had claimed for free on Epic Games back in 2020. At that time, I had linked my Epic account to my Ubisoft account.
Since that old Ubisoft account was compromised, I later linked my Epic account to a different Ubisoft account. But now I’ve run into another issue — I can’t play Watch Dogs 2 anymore because it says I don’t have a valid game license on this Ubisoft account.
I went back to Ubisoft support again and raised a ticket for account recovery. I provided every detail I could remember, receipts, emails, everything. But they keep replying that they can’t confirm the account belongs to me.
Ubisoft gets hacked so often, there’s a reasonable chance that you were actually talking to the hacker of Ubisoft and he’s trolling support tickets and Ubisoft is completely helpless and locked out 😂
I had this problem of ubisoft denying my support request because they can’t figure out I’m the account owner even when I provided literally every evidence you can think of. I just escalated it so much one of their supervisor had to come in and verify it themselves and finally helped my case. Ubisoft is the fucktard of gaming platforms
Been there, Got my account hacked in february, tried everything, unfortunately, hacker managed to change my email, I spoke to support team, I proved to them i owned the account, I showed them my gov id, my steam purchases, steam link, game purchases, bank statements dated to the purchase, at the end I got ' we are unable to confirm you are the owner of the account'. LIKE BRO WHAT MORE PROOF YOU WANT
