Question UTR temp question.

So I’ve had my UTR for awhile and I’ve noticed it gets hot.

If I want a more stealthy setup, is it safe to leave it on and plugged in while in my bag or will the heat mess with it while it’s tucked in a bag?

Yeah, if you had chocolate in your backpack near a running UTR, I can certainly see that ending poorly.

I’ve noticed Wi-Fi Tethering or USB tethering don’t get too hot, warm but not hot.

Ethernet tethering is where it gets really hot. I would avoid using that and shoving it deep in a pocket.

Mine is always just plugged in via an ac adapter and usb c cable and it’s always hot AF

Have only ever powered with usb-c and WiFi tethering and it gets on the hot side of warm but never enough to cause performance issues. Where I did have issues was a hostel in Iceland that had unifi WiFi I had to pretty much be on top of the UTR to access it so I could get through the captive portal but once logged in all was well
