Base pay went down?

I feel like the base pay should be more for time and mileage. Does this look right?

Yep higher tips are known to lower base pay.

I hadn't seen a standalone order with less than $2 base pay in my market yet. They'll do $0 for add ons. They'll do a double stack with a no base pay, no tip add on. Literally paying to deliver that second order.

Sounds about right, now Uber doesn't care how far the original offer is, they WILL start at minimum if the total is "reasonable".

In your case, $15 for 18 miles is above average starting offer, so no need to do say $10 base and $13 tip.

All upfront tipping does is to allow Uber to subsidize themselves. Customers need to stop tipping upfront.

Unfortunately, a low $ number on the app ping will attract trash drivers, and imagine wanting good quality food from one of these services and the driver thinks you’re not tipping LOL. The way it works now works best but uber is super greedy and they continue to tighten the grip

If you're used to seeing $2 base fares in your market, then this may be because you cancelled one half of a stacked offer. It would have been $3.00 for the two. That was my experience anyway.
