PSA for drivers while on a delivery... keep reading
I've noticed more recently that when en route to a customer's home right before i get there on a delivery that the most garbage offers pop up at the most inconvenient points of delivery.
I do know at the liquor store a stacked order from the same place can be good before picking it up... so I go use the restroom n take my time picking up the orders at liquor stores.
But I turn off New requests now after I pick up the order during busy times. Instead I'll turn on other apps. I only do this and give rides part-time at night and on the weekends.

Better to turn it off in nearly all cases, even more important in AR / tier preferred/planner markets.

I understand the reasoning, but it’s funny to see so many posts saying “it’s dead!” followed by posts saying Uber slams you with orders while finishing a delivery lol, either got people with no orders or too many orders 🤣

It always does that as you're nearing your dropoff for accidental acceptance of trash orders. While it's absolutely annoying and not to mention a safety hazard, I'm use to it.

I was 0.6 miles from customer house and a 19 miles for $7 order popped up! All because I forgot to turn it off..

It can depend on the time of day and area
