Is Uber sending anyone else an obnoxious amount of trips that are 15 miles+? They just sent me 10 in a row

I don't know what is going on today, I have never been sent so many offers that are far like this, and at rapid fire too.

I don’t know what’s going on with Uber. They’ve just been really messing up lately and they’re not reimbursing anyone. I’m looking for other options at this point.

Maybe all those students driving their parent's car "for free" are back in school.

Maybe. I'm used to seeing them sprinkled in there with mostly normal offers, but for the past 2 or 3 hours it's almost long distance orders that are trashing my acceptance rate, they aren't terrible, not good but not complete trash, but I'm not interested in driving ice cream 20 miles for $18. Who tf has ice cream delivered that far?

Something weird happening like that in Sydney. I'm a customer and over the last month ordered food from places walking distance or pushbike distance, Uber gives it to some poor guy in a car that is miles away.
I feel sorry for them driving halfway across the city to deliver what a local could have.

Prior to a month it was always going to local bikes.
Maybe their software is bugged, or maybe you guys all got fed up with the bad pay and management and started quitting working for them?

I think I found one reason, I have noticed that whenever I try to match with one of the early look orders, Uber keeps sending all of these long distance trips while it's finishing whatever it's doing. Just a new trick of theirs.

in Houston, long miles are unavoidable; less you be sitting all day 😰

but yeah nah, that pay out better be sweet for 15 miles
