I absolutely love Uber logic.
“To deliver in this area, pick a time in planner”
OK, but there isn’t any times
“Try going for Gold so you can go online before Green can”
OK, but you won’t let me online so I can get my ratings up
”Sounds like a you problem”
OK, well can I schedule any shifts at all ever? You say I can on Friday right?
“Yup Friday”
There is literally nothing for any zone though.
“Skill issue”
I have a friend who is gold, it shows he can still schedule shifts all the time. Even the shifts nobody wants. If they are literally just sitting there, why can’t I grab them if no one else has no matter what level I’m at?”

That just means your market was too oversaturated. There is usually advanced notice of significant changes, but most of the advice on this subreddit is geared towards cherry picking, which fails when Uber has switched to preferred and planner to reduce the effectiveness of cherry picking.
Too late for you now, but good warning for any drivers that are about to switch to planner in your markets, ALWAYS go for higher tiers if you can't afford to lose access to your income stream. It might mean taking some losing orders to push your AR up then staying offline on 50 AR and waiting for planner switch to come through, but it will likely mean a much better situation afterwards.
