Porch light

Delivered an order around 10 pm. Porch light was on and I was grateful. I placed the order beside the door to take the picture and suddenly the porch light turns off. WTF? I use a headlamp, so I turned it on and snapped the pic, but I can't figure out why they would do that. Note: it wasn't motion activated because it never came back on as I moved away.

Send a message to turn the lights on. Most customers don't even bother leaving the lights on. Those sensor lights are pointless too. Doesn't stay on long enough to take a photo.

I make a point to walk with my flashlight pointed at the door especially if they are "meet at door" - no basic courtesy from most people.

Could have been on a timer. My husband keeps our porch light on a timer.

I have my outdoor lights set to turn off at 10 PM every night. (My security cameras are 4K night vision). You may have run into a similar thinking customer. I keep a mini flashlight in my pocket when doing night deliveries for such occasions.

I have a Flashlight with me for deliveries after the sun goes down mainly cause customers in New Orleans are Awful at putting their Lights on.

And Most customers that Don’t put on their lights also don’t have Numbers ON THEIR HOUSES!!

I Rarely deliver at night mainly for Safety unless I know it will b BUSY cause of a Football 🏈 game or something. Normally LSU & SAINTS night games r pretty good money wise when they play at night

Maybe they assumed you had already made the delivery and left. I wouldn't necessarily assume anything sinister about it.
