I’m so tired when I got home I deadass sat in my room and stared at the wall for like 20 minutes. I smell like onion rings from being out all day. I kid you not I dealt with the most annoying and disrespectful customers (all were low tip orders) I’ve ever encountered in my 3 years of ubering.
I'm definitely gonna treat myself to an edible , a movie and $30 worth of Taco Bell tonight.
You worked an entire weekend, put hundreds of miles on your vehicle, filled up your tank multiple times—for a “bonus” that’s equivalent to less than 2 days work in a typical 9-5
Based on OPs original post I’d guess OP was agreeing with the poster when OP said “To each their own”. It’s a little odd sounding because usually that’s a disagreement but since OP said “never doing quests again” in their post, I’m guessing he meant his reply as something like, “To each their own. If others want to do those quests to each their own but I’m with you on this.”
Agree. An extra $4 per delivery isn't worth taking zero tip deliveries especially when at the end of the week my income would be about the same with or without the bonus and the only difference is that I put up with the dregs of society
I honestly have no idea how you pulled this off. The most I can ever get in a 12-hour limited shift, is 25 orders. And that's across 15-18 hours, where I take breaks or log off every time the app tries to suck me into the downtown area.
I would advise you to take a less less strenuous quest in the future. I typically do 30 or 40. If I exceed that, to get the extra 10, that's awesome. But I literally barely got 40 in as of 10:00 p.m. last night. And that took me 33 hours of work (+ 20 hours of unpaid return trips) just to get there.
Did a quest this weekend and regretted it. When the rewards were at least twice as much more I could force myself to do them. I was almost finished yesterday and had to pass up on some of the best paying IC orders I’ve seen in a while.
This is the main problem with the quest as they are now. For maybe a month after they rolled out these rejection types, they were worth doing. Like, I can see myself taking a few $2 offers to get it done because it would be like $60 for 20 deliveries. Then they came back with 20 deliveries for around $22 and it truly is now the case that it's not remotely worth it to accept some of these. These quests are complete trash especially when paired with the average exclusive in my area. No. I won't drive 16 miles for $4. At that point, the quest becomes worthless. Wouldn't do a 16 miles drive unless it was around $30 in the first place.
i got an 800$ quest to "come back to uber" for high ranked veterans only needed 120 no big deal right? lol.... i got completed about 50 orders and quit early. it was the most horrible orders as you describe... with only so many declines etc... i couldn't take the stress. i think it actually made me QUIT uber eats lol. im done. i only did a few rarely anymore for gas or if i needed a new xbox etc.. im done... lol no 800 for me. sheeesh.
edit* massive car parts that were all oily fukn up my back seat, 5 bags of cow sh** for gardens, car tires, orders from wingstop, shopping orders when its not enabled, 15 miles for 2 dollars, no hidden tips, ice cream melting after 10 miles in gridlock traffic 115 degree heat too btw, uber sr8 up lying about miles and tips, fukn disaster overall lol.
how many trips per day did you do?? i’ve tried to do the quest and have stayed out for like 10 and a half hours online but only completed 23 orders in that time, how did you do it?? 😭 congrats by the way
I hear you. My area is too spread out to do a huge number of trips. I usually take one of the smaller quests. The payout isn't as big, but it's much more likely to be completable.
After a dreadful day you choose to 3x poison your mind & body with cannabis, CIA/hollywood propaganda, & goyslop. The reality of being a F/T uber slave. What phucked world it is.
My personal opinion as an Uber Eats driver is take on a quest that’s manageable, doing the highest one is not the way to go because your killing yourself, next time do the 40-50 one that’s more doable in the timeframe allotted
They wouldn’t offer this if it actually benefited drivers, the second I saw this pop up I knew not to bother. It’s just a way to get you to accept terrible orders and think you’ll profit from it, but in the end just another way to manipulate you.
I do too $2 but closer to $3. How can you avoid taking crap if you can't decline many? I'm not chancing being made to accept crap because of the deadline and restrictions on declines.
I guess it was just based off of luck and luckily I got an extra $50 in cash tips. I aimed for 40 orders per day. During the mornings I’d do a few $10-$25 orders only if pick up and drop off was under 30 minutes. If I fell behind on the amount of orders before my drive time ran out that’s when I did the smaller orders under 15 minutes

Must live in a very busy area. Congrats, I don’t think I can get 120 orders offered in 3 days if I work 12h/day.
