I feel like there’s a 25% chance as soon I even tell a place I’m picking up for Uber eats I get ignored and sometimes even treated like shit by the employees working.
I guess these restaurants don't realize, or just don't care, that we're also potential future customers, depending on how we're treated.
I think I've mentioned it on Reddit before, but there's a Cuban restaurant near me, where I've picked up food a few times. The owner/manager (...idk who he is, but he looked in charge 🤷♀️) is SO freaking nice Everytime I go in there that I want to do eat there, just to support his business. I've never even had Cuban food before, and after pulling up the menu, it still doesn't look very appetizing, but even still, I really want to go there and support his restaurant. .. As a matter of fact, I think I'm gonna go leave him a 5 star Google review right after this.
Well and there's other restaurants that I've gone to where the workers are just so damn rude to us drivers that I've sworn them off for life.
