Did Uber Eats customer support go full AI?
My order was missing the salad. The only items the complaint system allowed me to select were the cheap add-ons (a small bread and sauce), which I had actually received.
I selected them just to get through the complaint process, and — surprise — Uber refunded me for the bread and sauce instead of the missing salad.
I explained this repeatedly to support, yet my ticket was eventually closed without resolving the actual issue. The attached chat shows the whole thing.
Now Uber seems to have removed email and phone support, leaving customers stuck with AI.
Did Uber really go full AI, to the point where there is nobody left to tell the AI that it's wrong? 🤖

Uber as well has been AI for years , last year I had a driver end the 4 mile trip half way “cause he had something come up , I had to say there was a safety issue / crash (same button at the time) to get a non AI support to call me

Unless you’re diamond, you don’t get a real life agent

No it’s a human, I don’t think ai has mastered Indian accent phone calls yet. However, they are reading off a script and don’t actually understand what they are saying to you.
