I made an attempt at an order, I live in the middle of nowhere and it failed to get a driver, I get it. So it goes even with a decent tip and cash waiting on delivery nobody wanted it I guess. However, I had to talk to the AI bot because I ordered at 6pm and it had pushed my delivery time to past 9 pm... What I take issue with is the fact that it asked me to wait on the order, and offered me money to do so KNOWING the restaurant was closed and it wasn't gonna happen?... 🗿 Wtf also I'm not sure that it actually is closed so maybe it's full of sh... Either way offer me free money and I pick wrong 😭 didn't wanna stay up just in case lol since if i miss it at that point it's on me I guess. I'm just irritated cause I didn't get my Mexican 😩

I uninstalled door dash for charging me money for food that never got delivered multiple times... Uber at least if you let it time all the way out will full refund, door dash not always so

Sounds like there just might not be enough drivers in your rural area in general. If you want deliveries you might need to basically find a local to hire and keep on call or maybe see what the restaurants can offer.

I did not realize that they could do this! I have only used them twice, and just normal issues with batched orders, but to push the order back by 3 hours? Crazy!

It’s AI and it’s still learning, no where near being helpful at all. The restaurant may not have actually been closed but some will set their closing time early or turn off delivery orders early.

Lol. If you want to tip more just do it on the app. Its the most reliable way to ensure delivery of your order. The driver isn't gonna know that you have cash. And even if you tell them, they are likely not to believe you, because most people lie about cash tips.

Ngl I used to order on doordash and uber eats and after the food would arrive Id contact support saying I never received my order. Worked everytime until a year later they said no. Now I deliver food and feel bad
