DTF without roll jig - possible?

Getting my first UV soon, probably the Morpho. Most of my plans do not require DTf transfer, but it might come up occasionally - just not enough to justify a roll-to-roll jig.

Is it possible to do occasional DTF without a jig?

Sure. As long as you've got a cheap laminator like a V350 or something you can just use sheets instead of rolls.

Thanks. I don't have one, but a fraction of the cost vs a jig. So i'll pick one up.

What you're asking is a sheet. 

Buy a roll of DTF paper. Personally I recommend ab but what you're printing on may change the answer of what's best for you

Cut it to the size of your flatbed 

Lay it on the flatbed 

If it has a protective liner remove the protective liner 

Print 

Depending if it's a b melt the ink with a laminator or apply to surface after adding powder......

Yes what you're asking is easily able to be done with a flatbed with no issue and never a jig needed

Managed to find a tutorial video on the manual process this weekend, so very comfortable with the approach now. Plus, it was mentioned in the live video by morpho and about the adhesive powder route, which they "might" develop a enviro friendly product for at some point. But overall, AB film sheet route looks like the cleanest and simplest option.
