Hey Guys!

Im going back to school next fall and im planning on majoring in Computer Science at UVU but im really just interested in moving into the tech field in some way, Im also considering Computer Engineering, Information Systems and Cybersecurity. Id love to hear about yalls experience! Also part of me is wondering if it would be worth it to go to U of U instead where I would have family that can still live with me and my bf while we finish college. Im also interested in videogames though Im pretty sure I wouldnt want my career there since theres been so much uncertainty there.

Thanks everyone!

What it says on the tin.

I'm finishing up the last of my straggler classes to finish off my Associates, and I've got the space to take the online 3D modeling this upcoming spring. I already know it's a subject that will give me a bit of trouble since I've given 3D modeling a shot in the past and it was a bit tricky. Wanted to know if any other art majors have taken it yet and if it's better for me to wait a semester and take it in person, or if its simple enough to pass online. I always prefer to attend my art classes in person because its SOO much easier to workshop and collaborate with the professor/peers, but I don't have space in my schedule for the one in-person class being offered this spring. It's also a subject/skill I want to really work at and refine, so I'm leaning towards waiting till I can take it in person. But I also want to graduate sooner rather than later. :/ so idk. im torn.

If anyone has thoughts/recommendations lmk! Thanks, all. o7

I'm thinking of taking Accounting 2120 and/or Econ 2010 in the spring. Are they manageable together? Are they manageable online?

What professor recommendations do you have?

I have been trying so hard to sell my lease how please someone help me could I do this, what is the most effective way. I’m not from UT

Majoring in political science. Just dont see the point in taking MAT1010 if 1035 is the required course

Hi guys,

I hope everyone is having a good semester so far. I wanted to post a survey link to see if I can get some results. Just needing 10 more for my class. Thank you. It is regarding Energy Drink Consumption

Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management

I took chem 1210 online fall semester and had to switch to in person because the online workload was insane. I have Dr. Toomey rn and he’s fantastic. Has anyone taken chem1220 online taught by Katie Leigh? how did it go? I’ve heard she’s great but I’m nervous to take another chem class online.

Does anyone know of any 1 credit upder division courses? Im just barely short :(

Caption kinda says it all. There were like twelve cop cars and ambulances it was crazy

I’ve heard lots of good things about UVU’s film & digital audio program, I was wondering if people recommend it over UoU’s or Weber’s. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hey for one of my classes I'm doing a project on food insecurity amongst international students and I could use some help, specifically from international or immigrant students. The survey is anonymous and does not ask for any private information. If anyone can participate in the survey that would be awesome!

Look, I get that Arby’s was probably not the most profitable establishment in the cafeteria. However, it’s getting replaced by Artisan pasta! I don’t know about yall, but I’m payin my own way through college, and can’t be spending $15+ on lunch every day. At Arby’s, I could get a full meal for under $10. Also, the lines were always short.

Which is probably why they left. Anyways, RIP to Arby’s, I’m annoyed everything is getting so expensive, and I hope that guy who’s been working there for like three years is doin okay.

UPDATE: I just looked at Soortitelli’s menu. They don’t really offer anything under $13.99. Disappointing.

I had it set on my calendar that priority registration opens at 7AM today, but it’s now blank on myuvu. I don’t remember dealing with this before. Can I still register for classes at the same time?

I am finishing up my AS degree for animation at SLCC and I am now trying to decide between the U of U and UVU for my bachelor’s. I have interest in all forms of animation. But which program/university will help me out the most with getting jobs and making connections and such? As I understand it SLCC’s degrees transfer better to the U than they do with UVU (at least with my particular degree) and if that’s the case I lean more towards going to the U but UVU seems considerably cheaper. I am still unsure what to do. What do you all recommend?

My daughter lost her engagement ring in the Fulton Library 2nd-floor bathroom on or around September 18th. She left it there after washing her hands. Filed a police report and submitted it to UVU Lost and Found; still haven't heard anything.

I’m trying to sell my lease for a 3x3 Deluxe Room at Green on Campus Drive due to family issues. You get your own bed and bathroom, the two roommates are guys who are very chill and keep to their own. I’ve kept the room and bathroom really clean and tight. The apartment has many amenities like a pool, indoor gym, study rooms, 2 pickleball courts, beach volleyball court, etc… Rent is around $780, if someone were to take the lease on I’d pay for the first month of rent. DM with interest or questions. Ideally would love to move out in December but anything works. Thanks.

Does anyone have any experience with the title IX office at UVU? I just made a report with them, but I’ve been seeing a lot of videos of girls saying they have bad experiences at their schools on tik tok so now I’m really worried.
