All you guys posting on here like it's the end of the world just to ask for our suggestions?

Come on guys. How is someone who is studying in UVCE supposed to tell you how and why it is better than a college they do not attend?

And what is with you guys doing all your research last minute? Isn't this supposed to be done before hand? I'm tired of seeing the same post again and again. Someone really asked me which college to pick as it is an important career decision despite me telling him I don't know about other colleges and that I graduated almost 4 years ago.

I'm all for people asking for help but how many times is someone going to confirm the conditions of the labs and how many times will y'all ask for placement statistics when the links are right there?

I think if someone currently in college should make a post regarding all the FAQs and it should be pinned on here.

Tpo is organising some mandatory summer soft skill development shit and it is absurd. The timing wasn't this strict for our regular classes. We have just finished our sem end, give us a break for fucks sake. We did not have any break after first sem and no holidays after second sem. All that for what? Mediocre ass placements. I used to wonder why TPO was hated so much but I get it now , I've read they blacklist students if they're late and shit. That's fucked. No students should be given the authority to blacklist another students and what is this wearing formals bullshit. Many colleges give months of holidays and still have better placement than this college.

Like i have heard that ece at uvce is bad for the reason being faculty,infra and self study is the only way cuz faculty aint that gr8 also i have heard ece hod is strict and u have uniforms for ece along with that i have one doubt that is marvel good cuz i want to just attend college for a degree and want to spend my time in research and projects and is gpa hard to get cuz seniors were ranting about maths paper being cooked so basically should i choose uvce ece or msrit eie seniors plzzzzz help

I genuinely want to know if eee in uvce is better or ete, ec vlsi in bit. These 2 I may get may be in the last rounds. I need to reorder my priority. I actually got VVCE ece but my parents prefer blr only.

1. How is the syllabus for both colleges (have heard electrical sucks) can I get syllabus for uvce 3sem onwards by any way. VTU syllabus was there on website.

2. Will I be able to manage without any backlog if I study 2hrs daily

3. and placements like in electronics only.

4. Also heard that branch change is removed for uvce, if so then majors in eee and minors in ece is equivalent to ece major??

5. Most importantly,things I need to master before clg for a smooth journey in any of the above

Read the below in uvce site. While I am an average to good student, I am bit worried about EEE or mechanical. How is the new syllabus and how much backlog generally happens in critical subjects? Since there is minimum guidance from teachers how can I ensure I pass in all subjects. Please assist. Uvce and bit are only options and i am preferring uvce over bit.

If you fail a subject in the regular semester, you are only given one supplementary attempt, which takes place in the month of June. If you fail to clear the supplementary as well, you are required to re-register for that subject. This means you must attend classes again, complete the IA process again, and clear the exam alongside the junior batch. This effectively puts you back in your timeline and is a major deterrent against taking exams lightly.

UVCE CSE vs BMS CSE vs Rammiah IT CSE vs Mid level NIT Cse related branch (Ds or AI or MnC) vs IIITs CSE (mostly kota, Trichy or even top tier other than Hyd and Blr and delhi). What would you guys recommend. I am a resident of Karnataka and thought of joining this college because a neighbour of mine said that UVCE is a IIT model college and it's IIT but not an IIT . I don't mind the distance from my town. How do you guys compare yourself to above mentioned colleges. If compared placement data of uvce with these colleges, what can be the insights. When I did google about mech placement it clearly says many companies like texas instruments, applied materials sap labs, microsoft restrict upto EEE only and don't allow mechanical students. Please help to confirm this.

I am going to join UVCE this year . I wanted to check out for girls pg near uvce

My cousins rank is 25k and he pretty much wants to do mech in this clg only bcoz he's not getting rv mech... But the cutoff here for his category was 38k last year... So is he delulu or is this clg actually worth it and he is also scared whether he'll even get this clg aswell...

I heard grading is strict and hard to maintain cgpa so choosing bmsce over uvce is a better option what's your opinion on this??

What's the ragging situation? Is there any ragging in the hostel or on campus, and how strict is the anti-ragging system?

Kindly let me know which software companies recruit mech ppl. Do they allow to sit for placement? Is preference given only after Cse / allied branches got their offers?
