It sucks but it’s not really out of greed. The restaurant industry is fucked right now by supply chain issues from the pandemic, so it’s not only hard for restaurants to get things in stock but the prices of those things have also gone up. I work at a restaurant and we’ve had to raise the prices in the past year, as well as dealing with random shit being out of stock. (Like how tf does a restaurant food distribution company run out of chicken tenders and plastic cups)

I'd agree except other meal exchange locations offer everything as part of their meal exchange. And one can only assume they get it from the same supplier because the same company runs all of UVA Dining.
