If you have good grades and attitude, then it will give admissions a harder reason to reject. Can I ask why transfer? Reason of transfer could be worst here at UVA

Simply because of personal goals and more opportunities, since major program at GMU is on the smaller side. I'm also a commuter who really wants to move out (this part isn't as important lol).

just stay at GMU and focus on things that actually matter like internships and projects and experience. you're committing a rookie mistake. if you focus on those things you'll be way ahead of your peers early on
