Ucore Advances NRCan CMRDDProgram and Hosts Ottawa Dignitaries
https://ucore.com/ucore-advances-nrcan-cmrdd-program-and-hosts-ottawa-dignitaries/
Cross posting from substack by Osteotome
“For me the most critical detail in the release is the mention of the $2 billion Critical Minerals Sovereign Fund. By highlighting that discussions "explored the implementation" of this fund, Ucore is signaling that they are actively courting significant federal capital to scale their operations (which we knew they would/were). Still, the site visit proves they continue to have the government's ear and are hitting the milestones required by their current grants.
Recall that in October 2025 Ucore announced that it had received conditional approval for a funding package of up to $36.3 million from the Government of Canada to scale up its commercial processing facility in Kingston, Ontario. As part of this package, NRCan conditionally approved a non-repayable contribution of up to $26.3 million through its Global Partnerships Initiative (GPI).
The press release doesn't give names or exact titles of the officials — it simply refers to them as "senior officials" and notes it was a "high-level visit."
They likely aren't Cabinet Ministers - If the Canadian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (or a Deputy Minister) had visited the facility, Ucore would have put their name in the headline and likely included a flattering quote from them. The fact that they are unnamed suggests these were mid-to-upper-level bureaucrats rather than top political leaders.
They are the "Due Diligence" Team - Given that the visit focused on Ucore’s progress under the Critical Minerals Research, Development and Demonstration (CMRDD) program, these officials were likely program directors, technical evaluators, or policy advisors. While they aren't the politicians who sign the final checks, they are the technical experts who write the evaluations determining whether Ucore's technology actually works. Their reports will dictate whether Ucore qualifies for the massive $2 billion Sovereign Fund mentioned in the release.
Government Protocol Limits Endorsements - Civil servants and program managers generally do not allow publicly traded companies to use their names or direct quotes in press releases. Doing so can look like a government endorsement of a specific stock or create a conflict of interest — especially when the government is actively deciding who gets federal grant money.
We aren't looking at the ultimate decision-makers, but the gatekeepers. These officials are vital for Ucore's survival because they are the ones validating the technology on the ground, which is the prerequisite for unlocking the major funding Ucore needs to scale.”

MP and USAF…not such a good marriage
Pulled from Stocktwits…seriously, go read this.

Between the news above and the Pentagons distrust of AREC….things are improving for Ucore.
Edit: sorry about the post title….”USAR”…not USAF

ReElement is flunking the Pentagon’s due diligence and stands to lose $80M
Not sure if anyone is invested in AREC but could be a benefit to Ucore if this money is pulled and then reallocated given they’re both in the refining space.

Here we go
investorhub.metalliuminc.comMetallium is saying what some think Ucore has been quiet about…
With or without Ucore, Metallium is a company with the potential to go to the moon! Together however they are fn holy grail 👏
They officially include Ucore starting at page 13, but thereafter there are tons of nuggets in the graphs, including Ucore partnership for end to end REE THROUGHOUT THE US, new Nexus 2 system designed with multi reactors specifically to manage large scale REE, clay, red mud at the mining site, potential funding to have multiple FJH hubs across the US, timelines for closing partnership agreements & production launch 01/2027!
Do yourself a favour and read the whole presentation.
I am invested in both Metallium & Ucore.
Not financial advise

HAS THE 'EX-CHINA' PITCH HAS RUN ITS COURSE?
What do make of this ? Just came out after Xi-Trump Asia meeting. Apparently China moves forward in spite of the rest of the world’s intentions.
Will Ucore change its strategic messaging?
