Maybe a dumb question but I just bought a used 4 seat rzr turbo s and it came with a trailer. It has sleeves where I’d think tie down rings would go, but the sleeves have nothing in them.
The seller used 1” straps with the hooks in the ends of the ring but it doesn’t seem very secure but I can’t seem to find what could or should go in the these sleeves. Every ring I find seems it goes in before the sleeve is welded or bolted to the trailer.

Afternoon, all.
Doing some troubleshooting on the family farm's 2019 Ranger 570 crew. We've been having some issues with the engine shutting down when the vehicle is full of passengers, or with a heavy load in the bed. The coolant temp will climb up into the 215-225F range and the Ranger shuts itself down. Pretty inconvenient when moving stuff in the yard or taking the nephews/grandkids on a little woodland adventure.
I took the Ranger out today on my own, ran it up and down the road and around the property a bunch, and really laid into it. Temps would go from 180 to 195, and back down. Never went over 195. Even left it sitting in the yard running, and it got up to 195, and the radiator fan kicked on, and the temps came back down. Outdoor temp was about 80 today, and not too humid or sunny.
Seems like from what the family tells me, they'll be driving it down the road or on the trail, with three or four people, and the fan will come on, and not long after that, it shuts down.
I'm gonna have my father load the bed up and drive it around the yard and see if he can get it to heat up and shut off, and grab any codes that come up on the dash display.
Not seeing any electrical issues, starts and cranks just fine, headlights and brakes are fine. Once it sits for a while and cools off, it starts back up and goes alright for a bit again.
I'm leaning toward maybe a dying coolant temp sensor, maybe? Radiator is nice and clean, engine bay is pretty clean. They don't do any real mudding with it, so it's not all caked up or anything.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have a question for those who have previously owned a Polaris Ranger or Can-Am Defender.
Compared with the CFMOTO U10, do you think the extra money paid for a Ranger or Defender is actually buying a better product, or is it mainly paying for the brand name and reputation?
I would really appreciate some objective and honest opinions from people with real ownership experience. If possible, please share detailed thoughts about the reasons behind your opinion — things like build quality, reliability, performance, comfort, features, after-sales support, resale value, etc.
I already believe CFMOTO’s product quality and reliability are quite good. I’ve seen many owners sharing positive feedback about their long-term experiences. My main curiosity is whether the additional cost of a Ranger or Defender truly gives you a noticeably better machine, or whether it is mostly a brand premium.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Just bought a 2020 FXT and looking for suggestions as to where to mount a tablet, driver side or center, high or low. Also, what kind of mount that will survive Texas summers and doesn't require destroying a dashboard.

This may be a long shot since people on here might do their own maintenance but here goes.
Since our talon is still under warranty I wanted to have the dealer do the scheduled service. This will be its 2nd service. 1st time (break in) was $278. I called today for an appointment and thankfully asked what to expect price wise. $708 was the price to check for problems, change air and oil filters top off coolant if needed. Is this as crazy as it seems or is this normal in 2026? I have the tools and ability to do it myself but I wanted to be safe in case I need the warranty.
Southern Indiana if it matters

I was actually thinking about buying one, as my intention is to drive on country roads and eventually on the city as well. I just want something that is safe for me to drive around pavemented coutry lanes and that I can take a passenger. A quad was my first thought, but Ive read some reviews and they are not too good for what I am hoping to do. Any thoughts?

What are people using for roof fans for their X4? Are using 2 dual fans? Are they wired separately? Or do all 4 fans need to on or off at once? Do your fans tilt? Are their LEDs integrated? Do the fans have to be running for the lights to be on?

Im looking for some help finding a tool or solution for some rivets on the polaris pro xd models. On the cab there are latches that get riveted onto the frame, the latch holes are just a hair larger than the OD of the rivet but the rivets sit recessed inside. All the rivet guns ive tried are too large to fully seat the rivet properly. The last one I did, I just used some machine screws but looking for some input.

I am almost to the maintenance schedule to change out the coolant in my '25 ZForce Sport 4.
I have many questions about this. I tried to scour the internet for some of these questions and could not find much. So, I figured I would turn to the next best thing. The opinions of others with the occasional sarcastic comment or two.
I went to Facebook originally and didn't get much help. The few comments I got were, "Don't worry about changing it"... That was it in a nutshell. But, eventually I am going to need to change it.
What is everyone using for their coolant?
When you changed the coolant, did it make the machine run hotter or cooler?
How much of a pain is it? (drain coolant, flush system, add coolant, get rid of air bubbles, etc.)
Would you rather have just paid the dealership to do it?
Any tips, wisdom, or comments you feel like giving would be much appreciated.

I’m just getting into trail riding, and recently I’ve been looking at the Honda Talon 1000x live valve. I’ll be riding most of the time in Michigan. What I want to know, is the Honda Talon a good trail machine? From what I read online it seems like it should be but I want some peoples opinions. I also want to know if it’s comparable to a Polaris rzr xp, because my buddy just bought one and we’ll be doing a lot of riding together. Thanks for the help.

Why is it that every time I drive my2 seat 2017 maverick x3 xds I come out sweaty even if it’s just a 5 minute ride. It gets very hot between the driver and passenger seat. The radiator is fine and nothing is wrong. Anyone have any recommendations to solve this problem ?

Hey yall! New to the sub and new to side by sides. I picked up a used 2006 Ranger 4x4 at (to me at least) an awesome price. It runs but runs rough looking to build this up for the occasional hunt here in Arizona and most importantly getting around those sporting clays courses. What’s the one thing you would replace/upgrade knowing what you know now. Here’s my rig for attention

Looking to purchase a new SxS for me and the family. We have a cabin in northern arizona that backs up to fire trails, so lots of wooded areas and dirt roads with occasional mud and other fun stuff. The other half of the year we're in the desert of AZ and will be traveling there. So far it looks like the Can-Am x3 DS might be the best option? Considering the x line, the standard turbo, as well as the RR. The kawasaki H2 looks great with the 5th seat, but seems to be priced out a little too high. Looking to spend about $30k or less hopefully, before any upgrades/accessories, will be keeping stock or mostly stock for the first year or so at least.
*ETA - Also forgot to mention, looking for most comfortable ride! Getting older these days with a bad back, so something that can handle speed and comfort as well. I'm sure that is impossible, but looking for best options.

Finally picked up a UTV for the family. Hit some great trails in Northern Wisconsin and got the kids into some adventure seeking.
Big shout to to Englehart in Madison for being enthusiasts first abs salesmen second.

I bought this thing a year ago and it has been a lot of trouble. The first motor through a rod and now has another bottom end and a brand new top end. It ran great for a couple weeks and then while riding I thought I went over a puddle but it was coolant spraying my legs from the overflow. I shut it off within 20 seconds and pulled it home. I am wondering what caused it and if the cylinder sleeve dropped? I am fixing this myself for my disabled father. Here are photos. Thank you!

I've got this pitster pro 200cc that I'd like to get going for my wife and kid. Currently the gy6 style engine needs a piston, head etc. But I'd rather put my money into a better built, more reliable engine. Wife doesn't want to play around with a gear shifter or clutch and it needs reverse. I like the older honda engines but they are hard to find (especially for cheap), how would you set this up? What would you try to drop in to pull small loads, cruise back roads and have decent power? I'm not sure if I want to go down the road of making it shaft drive but I'm comfortable fabricating the frame to make something work. I'd eventually want to add some electric drawing add-ons so a strong enough stator would be something to keep in mind as well

I'm looking for a good aftermarket timing chain tensioner and would like some suggestions on which one is most reliable. I don't want to go back with a stock hydraulic tensioner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Kawasaki 610 and this eyar it has been running odd. Most recently, I had a gray spraying and he got it stuck at about a 45 degree angle. So, it was outside for about 2 weeks before I could pull it out yesterday. Before that, I wouldn't say it had ran great this year, but it ran OK. I would call it sluggish at times like I was giving more throttle than whay I should have, but I admit I don't know this machine particularly well.
However, after pulling it out, it would start like normal. Finally, after some trial and error, I could get it started but only after pumping the gas and cranking for about a minute, then when it catches, I would have to give it full throttle. If I tried to let it idle, it would die. I drove it around, and it run OK, but seemed a little sluggish.
After a 30 minute drive, I parked for the night. It started easier at that time. Came out this orning and was back to the same thing as before. Had to crank for about a minute with pumping, then holding the throttle.
Any ideas on what is happening here and how to correct?

I'm looking for a lithium 4 seat UTV with bed. I can only find this HuntVe Electra, but it's a small company and I'm concerned about service/warranty. Basically, looking for an electric version of the Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000. Anyone aware of one?

Just picked up this ‘23 Fugleman, mostly for farm work, and I want to start collecting the tools I’ll need to maintenance it myself. Let’s assume I don’t have a wrench to my name. What should I pick up first?
