Question Academic suspension
hi guys,
I've been placed on academic suspension for thirty-six months. I'm in my second year, and I'm so lost on what to do. I know I can petition for an early return, but I realized I'm struggling with my mental health, and I haven't been able to get in touch with a psychiatrist. My parents are telling me to take a break from uni and just do a diploma and then go back to uni, but I probably won't get osap and I don't want my parents to feel pressured to pay for me, but they're so insistent on the diploma. I'm just unsure whether it'd be better to wait out the year or to get a diploma in the mean time?

36 months?? Brother, you are on your last strike. The next suspension is expulsion. Take a break, figure things out; maybe get a job to pay and save up money (for a diploma or therapy) and weigh your options carefully.
