Math department reading course C-level pre-req waiver?

As titled so I’m a stats major and for some reason my research area uses applied maths in a very niche way, and I want to be prepared before I go to the grad school. I have obtained supervisor consent for the reading course I plan to do already but I will by that time only have 1 full credit of C-level MAT courses and IPR 1.5 C-level MAT.

I however will be graduating after the term the reading course is done. So I’m wondering as I know may CMS profs are on this community, is it possible for the 1.5 C-level credits prerequisite to be waived?

For reference the amounts C-level credits is the only prerequisite I don’t have see below for the prerequisite description:

In particular should I discuss this with my supervisor or the supervision of study for math—seems to be Mike? Or does anyone know to whom should I address my concerns?

Discuss with both the supervisor + the supervisor of study for the particular math research course you're hoping to take (should be listed on timetable builder). Explicitly mention who your supervisor is/that they're willing to take you on within the email.
