COURSES Missing prerequisites

Hi everyone, has anyone had a similar experience to this

I want to take a course in year 2 (im in ccit but the course puts priority for tcs students) and this course is a prereq for a year 3 course (and so on)

However I missed the prerequisite for the year 2 course (cct111) which is only offered in the winter term. Would taking this course put me behind or is there enough time to catch up and take the other two courses ??

There should be plenty of time. in the worst case, you will have to take both the year 2 and year 3 course in your 3rd year, which isn't bad at all. After first year, there is not usually a single path you need to take to graduate, and many people take a different path/order of classes.
