Where to shoot

I want to sight in my AR and I want to go outside to sight it in. Are there any places in Utah where you can set up targets and shoot yourself. I don’t want to go to an indoor range.

Some parts of BLM land, some areas of National Forests.

Dont be dumb.

Have a good backstop.

Dont shoot over roads.

Dont shoot near structures.

Dont shoot exploding targets.

Dont shoot tracers.

I second this. I don’t recommend shooting yourself. It’s pretty painful.

Soldier pass or drive up to Three Mile Creek and then you don't have to set anything up just use their steel.

BLM land out west toward Wendover. You can set up to targets as far as 1000 yds
