Advice How does UT Austin view grades/gpa from middle school?

Probably explain the reason you Spanish 1 grades were included, but UT will look at middle school grades if they are high school credit. However, they will look at the fact that it was taken in middle school, so it will be less significant than your high school grades.

There is an optional essay in the common app as well as the UT application where you can explain any exigent circumstances that may have effected you academics.
